Seems cheap for a game with a Nintendo switch advert for it. Edit: although I see the reviews online aren’t overwhelming for it just saying it’s ok, not great and not terrible seems to be mostly what I’m seeing. If it were priced the same as Steam, it would be dead in the water. The majority of reviews on Steam are pretty great, but I'll admit that I cancelled my pre-order a few weeks ago until I noticed Shaun had said good things about it in a SwitchArcade round-up. I've re-pre-ordered since and I'm actually super stoked to finally play it. ste86uk likes this. I was skeptical coming in and right from the onset you realize that this is a game that involves a LOT of controls, but thankfully there’s nothing to worry about in that department. While I wouldn’t call the sheer amount of virtual controls used elegant, I think they’re the damn best they could possibly be on a touchscreen. Mind you, there’s a ton of juggling between having to move around, use the camera controls, platform your way to collectibles, whip out your sword, charge up an attack, etc. times a BILLION (yes, in the very first level alone), so just have a bit of patience. There’s a pleasantly large scope to the levels that you wouldn’t normally expect of a mobile title, so that’s pleasantly surprising, and another surprise was that the game has a 60fps option too. Overall? Very happy so far. Gonna charge up my battery and play some more. If anything comes up I’ll be sure to let y’all know. For now I definitely think this could’ve been priced double or triple and it’d still be worth it. ste86uk likes this. It’s hard to describe what my mind is trying to say. To answer all of your questions: Not at all. Thing is, this, for all intents and purposes should be one of those scenarios where we contact the developers and get a “Well, we’d like to bring this to iOS, but unfortunately there’s no way we could get the controls to work” response, except, in some bizarre fashion, we’ve already gotten the game and the controls DO work. Just don’t expect anything revolutionary when it comes to controlling the game. It’s VERY ambitious and doesn’t just mesh a platformer (in the literal sense) with a puzzler. It’s an amalgamation of EVERYTHING. ste86uk likes this. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #10 ste86uk, Feb 19, 2020 I appreciate you taking the time to think about it and reply to me. Although I would of wished it could do that but also save whenever you exit to menu but it’s not the end of the world. I actually met a puzzle or two that took me a few minutes to work out the mechanics. It’s a nice game to play and quite relaxing too. Skall likes this. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
