It certainly wears its influences on its sleeve (I literally squealed at the transition effect/sound), but it does so while managing to be its own thing entirely. While I think the invisible areas for moving left and right may be a little too large on iPhone XS, there wasn't a second before my brain had adjusted to having to make larger motions. Don't worry though, it's not like it has any effect on your ability to maneuver and I'm sure bringing this up (and discussing it further once y'all have tried this out) will allow the developer to tweak the controls if it's a valid issue. Remember, if you're having issues moving in your intended direction, just push your thumb in/out a little further. Oh, and @macplash, you'll be glad to know that while it doesn't play at 60fps, it doesn't feel laggy/clunky like that Neutronized game we had issues with. I have to say...gotta commend the developer on the banter between Dadish and his radishes/other characters. It absolutely makes the game for me and straddles that incredibly thin line between being adorable, self-depreciating and meta. I can only imagine the disaster it could've been from an ESL developer. Love it, love it, love it. Do check this one out guys. It's free to play with ads or a single $3 IAP to get rid of them...and no other nonsense whatsoever involved. The last set of levels may go down in history as my favorite iOS platforming levels. The graphics are beautiful and the controls are perfectly fine, sure they could do with some tweaking as I’ve gone in the wrong direction a couple of times but not much at all and certainly haven’t gotten frustrated by it. But I can’t help feeling like the payment model is maybe too generous? With all these f2p games I’m so use to adverts and the ones on this game hardly ever come up really....so even though I want to support the dev which I like to do for games I enjoy even free ones I feel like I don’t even really need to pay to remove the ads to enjoy the game. I’ll probably still do it to support the game but I guess most people wouldn’t?
