I've only done 4 days worth of daily puzzles but its pretty fun. The puzzles I've done so far isn't too hard..but I can see this becoming very hard..especially with the pieces that can mirror. But I suppose if the pieces only can be rotated, the game can be too easy. I really like the combination of a jigsaw puzzle mixed with "tetris" style puzzle. The controls are smooth. I like how you can move the pieces everywhere, complete with indicators where you can't place the pieces. I'm not sure about the music since I usually don't play with sound on for all games. Its awesome all the puzzles are unlocked from the get go with no subscriptions or any additional puzzle pack purchases! The minor gripe I have is for now, sometimes the pieces and the background (dark by default for me) blends together so initially I didn't even know there's pieces on top of the puzzle. Not sure if adding a highlighted border around each piece will work since it may make the screen now look busy..but I'm not sure how to best handle this. For now, it'll take me a while to beat the game. But maybe one feature suggestion is a "random" feature where you can select a random puzzle to play. Maybe a checklist filter to enable random from all puzzles, to any number of difficulty combinations to select from (ie. pick from medium, hard and challenging for example). PS. As an aside, now I'm interested in the physical game Katamino. ;-P tops2 Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2011 2,083 56 48 #3 tops2, Feb 23, 2020 One tiny suggestion is maybe move up the bottom drawer a little and adding a (few?) pixel/points of dead space for the touch gestures? I find swiping up for home or side swiping to switch apps interfering very difficult. A lot of times the game seems to think I’m moving a piece instead of multitasking or trying to go back to the home page. I use iPhone XR. Not sure if it’s just me or happens to others too. I’ve been doing a few puzzles each day and it’s been fun. Did one “hard” puzzle and found it still pretty easy. Or maybe I just need to be concentrating and not watching tv and talking to my wife while trying to do them. So much choice though! Although I was wondering can I search by difficulty? tops2 Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2011 2,083 56 48 #9 tops2, Apr 4, 2020 Im enjoying the game and haven’t found most puzzles too hard. I’ve mostly the daily and occasionally do a few extra. The first time encountering the hardest difficulty it felt hard..but it’s actually not too bad if you can get one or two pieces correctly. There’s a “hack” I’ve found to help me get a piece started..but after that, it feels like Tetris to me.. (I’m generally horrible at puzzle games aside from sudoku and picross..) But thanks for the update. I find the game relaxing as long as I just do one or two a day. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
