This is a story-driven action RPG/brawler with intense, complex combat mechanics, gorgeous graphics and animation, and an interesting interior monologue system, and, even on easy mode, tough boss fights. The English translation has issues, but it’s good enough to deliver an emotional punch, especially in some very well executed flashback cut scenes. I’ve played it for about an hour, so I have no idea how long the game is, but I guess fairly long. Here’s the bad news: the game requires sign in with either Google or Facebook — no option for guest access, which is ironic for a game called “Anonymous me.” I don’t think it requires an online connection, and it’s not clear what the developer is doing with with your information when you sign up. I find that unacceptable, so, sadly, I can’t recommend the game at this point (unless you personally don’t care about privacy). It’s confusing, too, because I thought that Apple was requiring all apps to have an Apple sign-in option (which is truly anonymous to the developer). In any event, I left a 1 star review and will try to connect with the dev for more info. lilneo, Ringerill and Skall like this. Gameplay is great so far with some of the best combat on iOS and there aren’t enough games like this. English honestly isn’t that bad and fairly well written dialog — not just basic Engrish simple stuff.
