I'm Jacopo Filo, I'm a 3D artist and I'm here today to introduce you to my new game for iPhone and iPad made entirely by me: JETNADO! I would call it a casual shooter game that recalls a bit of the old-style top gun, with minimalist graphics, combined with an engaging sound. Here below you can find the link to the App Store: (I have no idea why it gets me error with the correct setting suggested by toucharcade) https://apps.apple.com/us/app/jetnado/id1488215154 In 2013 I developed with some of my friends the first game Endless Boss Fight, which perhaps some of you will remember. We received a nice article right here on toucharcade that made us realize that maybe we were on the right track! For me it was the first time in the world of video games, I was very excited and thrilled at the same time! It started with the idea of experimenting with Unity and then almost by magic the prototype came out spontaneously from the hand of the graphic designer and the code of the programmer. Everything was great, the game collected nice critics and we were able to collaborate with Kongregate, we did a lot of downloads but unfortunately we did not adopt the right strategies and ended as we would have expected. A lot has changed since then. In the end I found myself going on my own way and I admit it was hard, a big challenge because I'm not a programmer, but in the end I made it! The dream of being able to make a game on my own with my ideas, skills and limitations has come true! I experimented a lot, I tested my limits and I did not give up. To some people it seems easy to think of creating video games but from my little experience I can assure you that it is absolutely not so. There are so many things to keep in mind, even just to make the simplest of games. In my case I tried to be as minimal as possible, but still the difficulties were not lacking! Being the first to be a player, I have strict criteria about what a game should look like, to stimulate and entertain users. It's not easy to entertain people! Of course it is a simple game, you will say, without any pretension, but even the satisfaction of having achieved something and being able to share it with the whole world manages to satisfy all the efforts made. Since I was a child I became interested in the world of video games and spent many hours playing with everything passed through my hands. I didn't have in mind how they were made, indeed I had no idea, but inside of me I knew that maybe in the future I would be able to make one! I hope you can enjoy and have fun and I wish you a good game! If you want to share tips and improvements don't hesitate to do so! Thank you Jacopo a.k.a. I did wonder about the title of JetNado, but having played a few rounds it all makes sense. Mr.Jack Games likes this. Mr.Jack Games New Member Jan 5, 2020 2 1 3 #3 Mr.Jack Games, Jan 7, 2020 Hi Asp! I'm glad you liked it and that means a lot to me! The idea behind the title actually came out to my wife's mind! I had made a list of various possible names but no one seemed to catch us particularly... we wanted to find something that could be easily recognizable and evocative of the game's peculiar elements. When I told her about the movie Sharknado she asked me, why not call it JetNado? There are so many planes and tornadoes... could work! et voila, JetNado was! Asp likes this.
