Searching ‘1945’ shows at least 30 of them, plus all the more recent inspirations like Sky Force. This one is called classic, and is a no frills version. Credit is given to Psikyo, so maybe it is original code, or close to it. Does the job well anyway. Best game I’ve played in 2020. As for the other ones on the AppStore, I believe 2 & 3 from another publisher are legit ports of the sequels, and Strikers 1945 World War is a mash up of several games made with permission of the license holder, but it’s kind of a mess of a game. I have no idea about all the other ones. It’s possible some companies bought rights to the arcade versions while other companies did to the console versions or maybe they’re just fake. There are many others but who needs more than 20 1945s?
