It’s completely new to me, I looked at a few videos online to try pick a class for game launch but it seemed to say you need an alt for every class in your family and to level them all. That sounds very time consuming? L.Lawliet Well-Known Member Jun 28, 2011 6,405 420 83 #3 L.Lawliet, Dec 8, 2019 I'm kind of excited for this because I love advanced character creation but I doubt I'd have much time to play it with all my other games. So I guess I'll have to debate if I should get into it or not... That’s insane and a bit unbelievable but if accurate then great for that Steam reviewer finding something they really enjoy. Getting 500 hours out of a game before “the grind” starts is amazing for any hack & slash RPG. I doubt most people will last that long before the game starts to feel grindy but that’s still a good sign. Eh that’s actually very disappointing if there’s no 60fps option. Hopefully there’s one when the game launches. If not then hopefully a 60fps option soon after release. It’s a completely different game and someone’s review of the PC mmo is irrelevent. It’s not a “mobile port” of the PC game, it’s it’s own game entirely with entirely different....everything. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,716 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #12 squarezero, Dec 11, 2019 Again, the two reviews I linked disagree. In a very banal sense you are right, of course — it is a different game, not a port. But the point is that the design of the mobile game draws a fair amount from the original PC game. And not to get philosophical, but whether something is “entirely...different” from something else is always a matter of opinion. Maybe tomorrow an option for 60 fps will appear in the game settings? squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,716 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #14 squarezero, Dec 11, 2019 There is a Max setting for FPS above the 30 cap. The game does warn you that it may overheat the device, and there is no guarantee of 60 FPS. JasonLL likes this. JasonLL Well-Known Member Feb 21, 2014 546 106 43 Male #17 JasonLL, Dec 11, 2019 That is good to know . That overheat warning is pretty common for games that allow above 30fps but thankfully I never had a issue yet... I agree. It’s something I can live with but it’s nice to have a gender option especially in a social game. Asp Well-Known Member Aug 3, 2017 769 196 43 #18 Asp, Dec 11, 2019 Okay thanks. I assumed it was the same. Shouldn’t jump to conclusions! It’s stopped working on my ageing iPad so doesn’t look like I’ll be able to see it in action. PC not up to it either. Capronissimo71 Well-Known Member Sep 5, 2011 1,305 137 63 Male Italy #20 Capronissimo71, Dec 11, 2019 Played about an hour so far, got some crashes during equipment enchanting but the game works well even if there are graphic pop-ups on the screen during movement and you notice that looking at the background. It’s almost totally automatic in the movement between the various waypoints, even if you can manually control your hero whenever you want. So far I can say is a good game but surely needs some refinements but obviously is out for a few hours. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
