I know on the surface it’s quite simple but I’m up to about level 15 now and I’m still accidentally solving puzzles while not exactly knowing how it worked. This is not a criticism of the game as such and I’m sure down to my stupidity more than anything else. I’d like kind of a quick reference guide for the slightly think I think. otherwise it’s one of the best of its type I’ve played in a while. Ringerill Well-Known Member Dec 13, 2012 315 170 43 #10 Ringerill, Nov 20, 2019 This game is quite a pleasant surprise! It beautifully crafted, the music and the water flowing are appeasing and it definitely helps to concentrate on the tricky puzzles. It's a "short" game that I managed to finish in a little less than 2 hours but then I really love puzzle games so maybe it might take double that time for not initiated players. Still, the shortness of the game is not a problem at all because the novelty and quality of this puzzler makes it worth every penny The mechanics are quite basic but what you can do with it makes all the fun. For those wondering what this game is about: the point is to water down some flowers using water reserves. To do that, you can only "erode" hexagonal tiles making them fall down 1 level, thus allowing the water to flow. There is however much more to it and new gimmicks are introduced along the way (waterfalls with unlimited water, dirt motes that rise up once watered...). It really reminds me of Valleys Between with this mechanic of hexagonal tiles that you manipulate. If you have played this game, I think you will enjoy this one too. It is not infinite (60 levels) so the replayability is limited but the refreshing feeling of the new mechanics of Spring Falls will please any puzzle lovers The game is a little bit straight forward the first 35 levels but then the real challenges begin and I assure you that you will have to rack your brain to get everything right. And as all levels are handcrafted, every time you have a new strategy to find. I agree that might be also difficult because you have to readapt to every level because it is not simply an increasing difficulty of previous strategies. But that is exactly what I like about that game. You can't really guess the solution by random movements (at least not after 20 levels or so) and sometimes you also have to plan ahead before letting the water flow. One can't upgrade past ios9.3.5, and the other is on ios8, but I'd like to wrap up a few games before updating it to ios12, which is the minimum this game requires). Only played a few levels, and it's a blast! Unlimited undos like many puzzlers. The art style reminds me of Monument Valley. No tutorial, but it does highlight parts of the interface when relevant (like the undo button), and I was able to figure out much of what I needed right away when I got started.
