It’s seems like a fun homage to platformers of the past as I had hoped it would be. So jump and at the apex of your jump slide your thumb to the whip button and you should be able to snag the ring. I really REALLY want to like this game, but what I've just described speaks to a more overall issue with the controls just feeling… off, for lack of a better term. ColeDaddy likes this.
