I think that just means they’re waiting for the right time to implement that stuff Brightsiderus Well-Known Member Feb 1, 2017 2,177 504 113 #5 Brightsiderus, Nov 2, 2019 @Repulsa, @geoelectric, @Royce hold your horses right there! I contacted developer and he said that Korean people don’t mind iap, but the game can be played without them. You get diamonds(second currency) after you go through stages for the first time and they are enough. You earn enough money to play game freely, too. So, basically, I’ve been playing the game a lot today and haven’t seen any f2p trappings. It’s a very neat game without the need to pay more money if you have to (1,99$ to buy the game, I mean), and dev have no intentions to make it f2p. What’s the gameplay like? It sounds interesting but how much management do you actually do? Brightsiderus Well-Known Member Feb 1, 2017 2,177 504 113 #7 Brightsiderus, Nov 2, 2019 I can tell that it looks a lot like idle game. You set up a party and let them go fighting dungeon bosses. Or you can take a role of a healer and heal team up, but I prefer auto mode. Then you go leveling them up, changing their equipment, getting new skills and talents.. that sort of things. Also you can go to special dungeons to get new allies, skills or epic loot. jayG_NextPhase and ste86uk like this. After reading the reviews, the desire to develop a "perfect raid management" game that adds a richer tactical element to the concept I originally thought of is rekindled. jayG_NextPhase Member Nov 3, 2019 12 8 3 Male #9 jayG_NextPhase, Nov 3, 2019 Hi, thank you for this. I recently bought mystery of Fortune 6 (is that the right number?!) which was an idle raider. And which nearly killed me with boredom. No active gameplay other than watching a dull screen with no interaction. And IAP for actually speeding up the timer (with a blank battery saving screen, should you do choose). Which said a great deal about the game. You have no control over their dungeon run - they move and fight without input, gaining experience until they die or you pull them out. You can then level them, etc. This means that the only real input / gameplay happens between dungeon runs, not during them. your dungeon runs involve actually controlling characters or having input, in contrast to this MoF model? Royce Well-Known Member Mar 22, 2011 4,239 179 63 #14 Royce, Nov 3, 2019 You can play on manual or auto mode. Manual has you controlling the healer in the raid. Basic attack is automatic. You control your various healing skills (direct heals, heal over time, shield). It’s similar to being a healer in an mmo raid. You have to manage cooldowns and watch health bars. You can just turn on auto and the game does all this for you, but that is less fun. There is also one type of dungeon (where you earn upgrade points for skills and talents) that can only be run on manual, and your two ultimate skills (time freeze and redistribute health) only seem to operate manually. Why not add another game to my already “too many to finish in a life time” backlog of games. Bought. EDIT; Well that didn’t last long. I am asking for an immediate refund. I was under the impression that there were no iap’s. Even the AppStore description has no iap’s mentioned. So I was very disappointed to see an option to buy diamonds for real money when I played the game. You can then use the diamonds to purchase gold which seems to be the common currency. It wouldn’t matter to me at all if the dev said they are not needed. The fact they are there gives me concern that there will come a stage where I won’t be able to progress unless I grind for days and days or I give in and cough up more money. It feels somewhat devious to me that the AppStore has no mention of the iap’s. I wonder why they were missing? I will be asking for a refund from Apple as a matter of principle. Oh and just an observation. The graphics are jagged on an iPad Pro. They are not clear and crisp as would be suggested by the screenshots. IAP, It's been suggested by many players during the last soft launch, and it's a result of my desires attached to it. But as I've developed so far, I tell the IAP shop button, "Keep hiding in the corner, and I'll never find you." I'll immediately investigate the screen phenomenon you noticed on the iPad Pro.
