Remove ads £11.99 though ? Having a laugh !! orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 2,000 150 63 #3 orangecan, Oct 9, 2019 It looks like it might be a lot of fun but firstly yeah twelve quid to remove ads is taking the pss, but also the on screen controls are completely in the wrong place for the iPad and there’s no option to move them. Shame, it looked really good from the prologue level. At this game, it's so expensive. psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,972 722 113 England #6 psj3809, Oct 10, 2019 I’m normally happy buying remove ad IAPs. Can’t beleive this one though. Must be some mistake ? To be fair I couldn’t see this IAP to buy from the ‘garage’ so wonder if it’s wrong and is just temporary But feel free Mr Moneybags and let us know if it works Gwarmaxx Well-Known Member Feb 2, 2010 4,446 376 83 NCC 1701 #7 Gwarmaxx, Oct 10, 2019 wow, what a pleasant surprise!!! this one is incredibly enjoyable like those top down racers from 80s arcades/computers, loving it. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 704 113 #8 anthony78, Oct 10, 2019 Pretty fun little game even if it isn’t widescreen on iPhone X. But yeah that IAP to remove the ads is just crazy psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,972 722 113 England #10 psj3809, Oct 11, 2019 Just got another update. Now it’s ‘just’ £8.99 to remove ads not £12.99 Bargain Boardumb Administrator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Apr 14, 2009 8,964 880 113 THE BOSS Sacramento, CA #11 Boardumb, Oct 11, 2019 Really disappointed with the shitty attitude people are having towards paying for this game. I'd love for someone to go to where you work, find out what you make an hour, and say "WOW, you pay THAT, for THIS?? RIDICULOUS!" There are a lot of top down racers on mobile, but I've never come across one as high quality as this. There's a full story-driven campaign complete with funny little cutscenes; a super extensive car upgrade and customization system where you can actually swap out the different sections of the different bodies you collect and create your own unique looking vehicle; environments with semi-destructible elements which include "traps" you can use to take out your opponents, and even though it's slight the handling of your car changes based on if it's asphalt or dirt and whether it's raining or not. Oh and full online multiplayer, though sadly there's currently nobody to play with. Seriously if this was a Switch game people wouldn't bat an eye, but because it's mobile people throw a fit. And it's not like you could just ignore it and not pay for it if you feel it's not worth the money, but instead you have to make a point to come onto the forum thread and leave insulting, snarky comments about it. The really sad part is that even though there's an ad after every race, they're the kind you can skip after 5 seconds, so even if you don't want to pay for anything the developers have made it so you can play through this entire awesome game for free and only need to deal with slight annoyances. I just don't understand the crazy entitlement gamers have today. solarnya Well-Known Member Jul 22, 2015 907 287 63 Male Close to Tokyo, Japan #12 solarnya, Oct 11, 2019 I read the feature of and thought "This game smells good" but before I installed it, I needed to check the ad-removal option again. because I don't want to get to liking the game although the ad-removal is too expensive.(It's important for me) I asked about price to the dev, there was no answer. but they took any action it seems. I couldn't think this price is fair as far as I buy big titles(for example: Grimvalor, Dead Cells, Stardew Valley) macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #13 macplash, Oct 11, 2019 Aside the game's quality, longevity, possible worthiness and whatnot.. What I find alarming is the fact the price went down by 30% just days after its release. As an early adopter I'd be pissed if I bought it and got a middle finger in form of discount the next day. This happened in the past and never went well for the developer or the title's rating. I find these practices as a fail on developer's end. As a lack of research of gaming market and other (similar) games' pricing. This just shouldn't be happening. Am I being an "entitled gamer" for finding all of this a bit curious? lol. Still a fun game though. psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,972 722 113 England #15 psj3809, Oct 16, 2019 Exactly. Cheaper on steam which is rare I buy a LOT of games and don’t hesitate unlocking other games. Just thought 12.99 (we pay nearly double as its £12.99 not $12.99) I think is a bit too high personally anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 704 113 #16 anthony78, Jun 10, 2020 So the IAP to remove ads now appears to be $4.99, which is more reasonable, but I can’t get any of the IAPs to work.
