I was playing this while cooking dinner and listening to an audiobook and I like it. But then I’ve designed my share of wrapping paper over the years. It’s not really fair with the chain trophies since sometimes you know where a piece is supposed to go and the game is just wonky about snapping them. I’ll probably do them all and delete this. Very peaceful casual way to fill a few seconds at a time
Just played this over lunch - super chill and relaxing, I love it! I agree with @Nonstickron on the chain trophies, it sometimes "wonky snaps" even if you're really close to the piece, or I'm over the right spot but not in the "pattern zone". Looking forward to chilling on the couch with my iPad for this one and playing through all of them -- nice, zen, relaxing game. Does anyone know if Apple Arcade games are rotated out? I'm a little worried I need to crank through some of these if they're going to disappear in a month or two. I always rock a ridic backlog, but the quality of games so far on Apple Arcade is really incredible, I'm not going to run out of iOS games anytime soon
This is a soothing play for me; throw on some piano chill (like, say, from PROJECTION: FIRST LIGHT) and just jigsaw Tetris. I'll echo the "wonky snaps" above: I happened to get the "25 correct placements" trophy on the tutorial puzzle, but not without a few hiccups first. My second puzzle was a little more frustrating though - it was a peacock(?)/flower pattern called "Chinoiserie by Tashi Tsering". I've no problems with the artwork, but it a) didn't actually pattern properly, and b) when faded (for unplaced pieces) was SO similar to the actual "muted" colors of the art that it was nearly impossible to see, in the beginning and in the end, what was and wasn't placed. The last ten pieces or so, I just ended up waving them over the board frantically until I saw the placeholder piece appear then dropped it in. Rinse and repeat. Still, browsing through the thumbnails of the remaining art had a few "ooooh, i like that", so this'll definitely stick around for a while.
If anyone does know, I've not seen the answers yet and it's been asked a few times. I am currently operating under the assumption of "it just launched, and any bad press from rotation deletions would not be good, so these games will like stick around through the end of the year, at least". At least. I hope.
Anyone knows which are the animation puzzles? I love this game, starts really difficult with all the pieces being the same tone of color and gets easier towards the end.
