I have 5 previous games from this dev and AFPS has got the best from all of them. As always, a good balance between ease of control and accuracy of physics, together with an interesting mission structure. Probably the most accessible fly/drive/walk simulator available. myke38 Well-Known Member Aug 13, 2012 103 2 18 #3 myke38, Aug 24, 2019 Hello, Thank you for your post It make me happy to read you. On which device did you test the game? Did you get some lag? Thank you for your help Stronsay Well-Known Member Aug 6, 2015 987 230 43 #4 Stronsay, Aug 24, 2019 Using iPad Air 2 ios 12.4. No lag. Runs very smoothly which is good considering the amount of detail and volumetric clouds. myke38 Well-Known Member Aug 13, 2012 103 2 18 #5 myke38, Aug 26, 2019 Thank you for your answer. And about controls on your big tablet : are they too big? or misplaced ? I have only test on my iphone 8, that have a small screen. Stronsay Well-Known Member Aug 6, 2015 987 230 43 #6 Stronsay, Aug 26, 2019 The controls are fine. Easy to see and operate on iPad. This is the flying view I use most of the time. myke38 Well-Known Member Aug 13, 2012 103 2 18 #7 myke38, Aug 27, 2019 Hello, thank you very much for the screenshot. The controls seems ok, thank you again, Michael ostbey New Member Jan 19, 2020 1 0 1 #8 ostbey, Jan 19, 2020 Last edited: Jan 20, 2020 Hi there, I really love your AFPS flight simulator. Really nice that you included Captain Sullenberger's emergency landing on the Hudson River (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/US_Airways_Flight_1549) in one of the missions! I also love the flight controls resembling a real yoke. The accelerometers on my cell phone (Samsung Galaxy A50 with Android 9) are a mess (or maybe I am), so I cannot use the other flight simulators which use accelerometers for steering. I also absolutely love the (rudimentary) radio exchange with the control tower. Haven't seen that anywhere else yet. Cute little feature! I am dearly missing one function though: A list of completed and/or uncompleted missions. The simulator says I have completed 16/18 missions, and I don't want to repeat them all to find out which I am still missing. I played on two different phones (also on an old Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with Android 4.4.2, without any problems!) and did all the missions, but can't remember of course which I did where. Other nice-to-haves would be even more realism, for example more emphasis on checklists, a mission in order to learn how to land properly (right angle and speed of descent etc.), separate controls for ailerons and rudder, a control for flaps, the possibility to do some aerobatics (Immelman, screw, looping, etc.), which the current simulator doesn't allow. More realistic interactions with the control tower (e.g. clearance for takeoff not always given directly and automatically), and other air traffic. I guess ILS and VORs would be asking a bit too much... (the simulated area is a bit too small for that anyway I guess). Just some ideas from the top of my head. Thanks a lot, and keep up the great work! P.S.: However, I cannot find these: - Race against helicopters !!Airplane Flight Pilot Simulator is the ultimate plane flying simulation with 20 free levels!!
