Feels like a futuristic text based hack and slash with very nice loot and level mechanics with the game opening up quite nicely as you lvl up (bounties, special shops, interplanetary travel). I can easily see myself getting burnt out on the game if I dedicate too much time to it but for a passive clicking experience that takes some focus it’s very good. Ringerill Well-Known Member Dec 13, 2012 315 170 43 #3 Ringerill, Aug 30, 2019 Well I agree and I disagree. Hack and slash? Not really. You get 1 skill (with a 3 minute cooldown) and 3 attacks (normal, special using special ammo and heavy using heavy ammo). And you mindlessly click on the attack box until the monster dies. Very nice loot? Well I agree that the randomised stats of each loot are quite interesting but basically you are going for the rarer loot and number anyway. Game opening? Well I was quite disappointed by that. I though that the mechanics were going to change but it basically lets you access special shops using special currency, some quests for grinding mobs and just new names for mobs. It is fun but becomes reeeeaaaallllyyy boring after some time because you basically switch from place to place and try to find rare mobs. Combats are plain: you click on attack (normal, special or heavy for more damage) and you hope that you can kill the enemy before he kills you. You can sometimes recover your HP mid-combat and use 1 skill from your race talents but that's it. But even if I am not hooked to the gameplay, there is indeed some part of a story, some events where everyone participates, some special "field bosses". Maybe new mechanics will appear too and will make the game more appealing. Conclusion: Not bad but not great either unfortunately. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
