Unhatched is an absurdly peculiar mix of puzzle solving and role play, married together by a simple card swiping mechanic. It puts you into the role of a young dragon trainer. Swipe left or right through numerous puzzles and story events to reclaim your freedom. What starts innocently with opening a jar of pickles, will end up testing the limits of your wit and bond you create with your dragon! The game has no randomness so each time there is a solution. Each card in your deck can be swiped either left or right to have a different effect. Though as strange as it might sound I was really sold by seeing it’s less than 80mb (installed) There’s something to be said for developers that keep a reasonable file size. I’m pretty clueless at the sorcery that goes into making this possible, but I do know I value the heck outta it. I’ll also keep a game around about 50x longer when the file size isn’t bulky. Can you loose and start again or is it a multiple run type game anyway or do you continue with the one game no matter what and just have to figure out what your suppose to do? aare likes this. aare Member May 28, 2015 14 8 3 Male Indie Game Developer Poland http://filiploster.com #16 aare, Mar 16, 2020 Contrary to reigns, it's a story driven, "single run" game. You play through a series of quests with exclusive event cards and solve puzzles to progress. These puzzles are essentially a card duel with AI opponent, where to win you need to create a proper deck and then play it correctly. You can't lose during the story part, but can be defeated during the duel. Defeat means you either have a slightly changed story, or if you choose, another go at trying to solve it. Hope it helps, let me know if you have any other questions ste86uk likes this. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #17 ste86uk, Mar 16, 2020 Thank you that helps to understand more how the game works. I would ask more but I guess I’d learn more by playing it anyway as it sounds worth getting.
