I was messing witg my ipod password settings and changed tge password but now it never requires a password even though its set to. I restarted my devuce and it required it at first but if i lock it manually or let it auto-lock it still acted as if i had no password.

Open the settings app and remove the password, and add it back if you wish.

No matter what password i set after i confirm it and lock my ipod, either auto lock or manually if i try to unlick i can just use tge slide bar and i'm in, without a password. But my settings say i have a password required.

Hmm. Try backing up and restoring, it's all I can think of. You won't lose anything except maybe your password problem.

You're either typing this on your iPod or you're seriously drunk :p

If I may interject, it sounds as though you have changed the setting 'ask' to something other than 'immediately'
The setting is found in General>Passcode Lock>Require Passcode

Set it to immediately. If that isn't it, I don't know what it is.
