Hey everyone, I have a 1G iphone and just bought a 3GS and was wondering what case to get. I like the look of the Capsule Rebel (Devil of course) but I am wondering if it adds too much thickness to the device. I was also considering the Grooveshield Form case, but it only covers the back so if I drop in on the front side I am screwed. I like the overall look of both, but they each have cons. If you own one of these or have suggestions for any other cases, please tell me. Thanks.
http://www.iskin.com/store/i2shop_revo2.tpl?cart=1245457477680675 That is the case. the iSkin Revo 2. I have had it since the 3g launch and it went right on my 3gs. Is rubbery I guess and if drop it, it will bounce around with absolutly no damage to the phone when you pick it back up. This is the case to get!
I waiting for the Switcheasy RebelSerpent I ordered the other day after a recommendation from someone on another forum to show up. Supposed to be a great case (rubber with a plastic spine for extra protection). It's cheaper than the iSkin Revo too.
For me I run with the elementcase. It has bad reviews for the point that first the price is a lot (which is I understand) and also the flip lid which many people will get annoyed flipping back and forth. I trained myself to flip the lid on and off with one hand and it allows me to pretty much do whatever I wish without worrying about the iphone because it's pretty much protected. I dropped the phone multiple times from my table and tripping and having the phone fly away from me but the phone was never damaged. If you wanted an unusual case that is customizable (get ready for prices reaching $150 however) then I would highly look into the Element Case. www.elementcase.com
Agreed 100% - I upgraded from a 1st gen iphone too, and I used the Revo skin for that one and loved it - bought the revo2 when i bought the 3gs
