Yes, although I hope they change it a little and add some extra content. Some of those series I never got into (Kingdom hearts, pilotwings) others lost my interest years ago, I can't play another resident evil, unless it goes back to the original zombie format (but left for dead pretty much is all over the whole zombie thing) metal gear solid lost me years ago ,I loved the first one, hated the second one and have struggled to get back into the series since. I suppose a new final fantasy would exite me a little but only if it's a whole new adventure following the PS1 formula (like 7,8,9). Some sega titles might be good, a 3DS version of shenmue and a real phantasy star ( not the online loot collecting ones) I'm a little sick of the same old same old, I like new games, more grown up games, I'm sure many people will love playing pokemon and whatever, again, but to me it's going to have to have something really special to drag me away from using my iPhone to get my gaming fix, because when I'm at home I'll play PS3, and when I'm out I don't think I can justify carrying a console and a phone, that's why I think the smartphone might eventually kill off the hanheld , not because the games are better, but because it's more convenient and does the job. But that's a whole different debate.
Try a new topic anyway. If it looks clean enough they might leave it, otherwise they'll just merge it with this one then you can edit the first post.
3DS hardware spec... All rumor right now. With this, it is clear what Nintendo's intentions are with the 3DS. It is a wholly dedicated videogames device and thus the specs reflect that, not least so to attain a high battery life for 3D gaming. For example, the use of two low-clocked CPU's proves Nintendo's intention for a high battery life, as two low-clocked CPU's can serve power consumption better than a single high-clocked one. With these specs, it is clear Nintendo doesn't want to adopt smartphone functionality, like a resource-sucking OS, but rather just push what the system can do for videogames. 4MB of VRAM for example is very large and explains why all 3DS games shown thus far do not have nasty dithering like many PSP games have. It also partly explains how Capcom managed to get the Resident Evil 5 engine running on the 3DS, features and all. But yeah, with 64MB RAM, this system wasn't designed for web browsing. So, for those that were expecting such things you're going to be disappointed.
Possibly the best 3DS website I've stumbled across so far. Get updated daily with lots of new info/stories: http://www.nintendo3ds.org.uk/
In 24 hours time, the Japan conference will kick off and we'll know everything there is to know about the 3DS. Unfortunately, no foreign press is allowed at the conference, so it looks like we'll be limited in liveblogging sources. This one... http://www.andriasang.com/e/ Will be there.

Not one, but TWO Resident Evil games for 3DS. Resident Evil Revelations - mainline RE, in devs words will be "pure horror" Resident Evil The Mercenaries 3D - will be a more action styled game, co-op (basically the merc mode from RE4 but fully fleshed out into a game)
Capcom are really taking the platform seriously... - Super Street Fighter IV 3D (100% faithful port) - Resident Evil Revelations (pure horror RE) - Mega Man Legends 3 (long-awaited sequel to the 3D series) - Resident Evil Mercenaries (action / mission-styled RE) EDIT: Oh, and it looks like the 3DS will be capable of a background OS / multitasking. You'll be able to press the HOME button to pause games and access a variety of system features on the spot, including the internet. Also, you can now easily transfer DSiWare games to 3DS (as well as easily transfer DSiWare games from DSi to DSi XL). Finally, Nintendo is in the same decade as us!
Professor Layton versus Phoenix Wright!!! As if it wasn't already obvious, 3DS truly looks to be the future for developers. Level 5, developer of Professor Layton, Dragon Quest VIII / IX, Dark Cloud, etc, just had a media briefing in which they showcased all their upcoming titles (for PSP and DS) in addition to four new games, all for 3DS. - Professor Layton 5 (already announced) - Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright (yes, you read right) - Fantasy Life (full 3D RPG, from devs of Mother 3) - Time Travelers (suspense RPG) - Kyabajoppi (hostess club RPG) Five titles... five titles, before the device is even released.
