X-Com creator, Julian Gollop, is working on a tactical RPG launch title for 3DS.

Oh, some other news from Ono...

Looks like the 3DS has the best chance of all systems of coming close to matching the Saturn model 2 controller for finest D-pad created.

Yet MORE news, this time new developer support from Headstrong Games. These are the developers of Nintendo published Battalion Wars (Advance Wars spinoff) for Wii and Art Academy for DS, as well as developers for Sega's House of the Dead Overkill for Wii.

Just twenty-three days left (29th Sept) until the big 3DS event, where we will know the launch date, price and of course the launch titles! By then we should also be given all the info on the features and functionalities of the 3DS, such as its online service.

No, the TGS is earlier(Sept. 16-19). Nintendo is having it's own presser to reveal all the details about the 3DS on the 29th.

It is just as SID said, so don't expect any 3DS news at TGS. Well, Nintendo has never bothered showcasing games there but it's likely third-parties will not showcase 3DS titles there as well, what with the specialised conference later on in the month.

So yeah, catch up with TGS for The Last Guardian and the like (TGS has always been a mainly Sony event anyway) but don't expect anything to do with 3DS. Nintendo's own event is likely to be one of those worldwide ones that they usually put on, so the event will take place in three locations: NA, Europe and Japan.

Oh, and a tiny snippet of news. The Dead or Alive game in development for the 3DS has just been given its proper title in the latest Famitsu:

    Dead or Alive Dimensions

No update yet whether more info is available for the game.

The 3DS is going to be a beast. It's still no Virtual Boy though.

    Dead or Alive Dimensions screenshots!

    http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2010/09/09/doa_dimensions_reemerges/

Looking at those screens, the models are of the quality of the Xbox DoA games but now with better lighting and lots of normal mapping.

Dimensions is a full on project by Team Ninja and not some cheap port outsourced to a third-party. Oh and let us not forget, in Dead or Alive Dimensions you will be able to jiggle the boobs via the 3DS gyro!

I think that this deserves a "Thank God".. :D I remember playing one of those and got a mega headache within minutes. If your eyes weren't perfectly centered everything was skewed like one of those fun house mirrors..

Probably pretty correct though. Gotta get those xmas shoppers and these days I would imagine that people are going to be planning gift buying early and having some last minute release would drop their sales.

Yeah - I don't get any sort of bonus until after the first of the year, and this is not much of an economy to be banking on bonuses....
