That purple one looks raw as hell. Maybe it's just 'cause I'm a Vikings fan? Right now I'm stuck between Red and Purple...
Eh, the color schemes are a tad on the fruity side. Love the colors, but I'd feel a little silly with a bright turquoise 3DS. I'd definitely go for the orange, though. And for lack of hot chicks so far...
I really don't like the orange... I'd definitely go with the purple/red/black. Like I said, I'm a Vikings fan so I love the purple.
I'm excited as you , and dude no. Golden Sun Dark Dawn is coming out for DS around christmas this year! waited like 7 years lmfao...
Only reason I'd buy this if it somehow makes good control schemes possible for FPSs/TPS or if future Pokemon games require it.
It's not just a new version of ds ( ds phat,ds lite , dsi) It's more like gameboy colour to gameboy advance. I hope you get what I'm saying.
If they decide to really ramp up the graphics (though Pokemon was really more about RPG elements that anything else) maybe, but I'm not sure about backwards compatibility with 3DS and DS games. I wouldn't think so if Nintendo's trying to avoid fragmentation and start up a whole new console.
Black & White are DS games, so no they don't require the 3DS. After that... probably, Nintendo always keep Pokemon up to date with their latest hardware.
So apparently Reggie was mistaken: http://kotaku.com/5574144/nintendo-exec-mistaken-about-nintendo-3ds-release-date Although then it goes on to say that Nintendo are still going on a 'sometime this fiscal year' release. So basically we're back to where we were in the first place. Eh.
Mr Miyamoto dropping a possible hint as to a 'Super Mario World' remake. I know, another remake... but damn, remaking one of the greatest platform games EVER!!! I'd be all over that, especially since it's rare to launch a Nintendo system without some Mario related game (the Wii being the only exception... I think): http://stars.ign.com/dor/objects/919353/shigerumiyamoto/videos/miyamoto_interview_IGNAU.html Ever since Nintendo revealed 'New Super Mario Bros' on the DS, and subsequently the Wii, I've been wondering what a Mario World remake in that style of 2D plain, 3D models would be like. Or better yet, update the 'Super Mario Allstars + Mario World' Snes game in that style... that would be without a doubt an instant buy.
Miyamoto also said in the same Q&A session during E3 that he didn't want to just port any games to the 3DS and instead wants to add actual value, such as new content / new levels. In relation to this he noted OoT was at first only meant to be a prototype for the 3DS, to test the platform and its 3D tech, but since then they had to look into what could be added to the game before they would start really working on it. In other words, we should expect more than what we actually expect from the OoT and StarFox 64 remakes.
