Aoineko Studios, an award-winning gaming and animation studio based in Phoenix, Arizona, is launching a Kickstarter campaign on Thursday, April 19 to raise development funds for an epic new 3D role-playing game called Kitaru. The funding will allow the studio to complete the first release of Kitaru and to bring it to market on a variety of mobile and desktop gaming platforms. Aoineko is offering a long list of incredible rewards that allow fans to get intimately involved in the development process...from beta testing to naming characters to voting on content and outcomes to having your own custom character in the game. If you are looking for the next great video game, and you are interested in learning more about the game development process, this is definitely an opportunity you should check out.

The Kitaru storyline and game has been under development for nearly five years, and much progress has already been madeĀ…from a 1,000 page script to an extensive digital character and scene portfolio to a core pre-alpha game framework built using the Unity 3D Game Development Engine. Kitaru will initially launch on PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Android. Subsequent releases will follow on the major consoles. We have received raving feedback thus far and we are excited for the opportunity to share our game with the gaming community.

    Game Features Include:
    - Rich, multilayered narrative gaming experience never before seen on mobile devices.
    - Enormous world full of colorful, eccentric characters whose lives evolve over years.
    - Classic RPG gameplay aimed at hardcore fans of the genre.
    - Stunning, original art and music over five years in the making.
