it's pretty stable cant wait for models and everything this could be a succes who knows ravensword mmorpg style
There will probably be a Ravensword MMO but it probably won't be out until long after Dangerlands comes out. It will be sometime late next year. Dangerlands will probably be the first WoW type MMO on the App store (not to mention Seven Swords which is horribly bugged)
I totally lost track of this thread..but I'm definitely down to help you guys test if needed. Looks like the Mac version has yet to come out..so I'll wait till then
Just jump on with the web version, should work in most OS/browsers. Another multiplayer test tomorrow night. http://www.daveyounggames.com/dangerlands/dangerlandswip.php
oh cool ok, just got done creating my character/running around a bit. stumbled upon the giant mushrooms and was like amg hella cool lol
Love those shrooms! We have a new character artist cranking out some new designs, a UI artist working on screen design, and next week an Awesome story/lore team mate is jumping in. Hint... DangerLands will have it's very own unique language, complete with font, dictionary, and pronunciation guide
Did you see my idea for your macrobar in the general forums Dave? I'm still unable to use the browser version on my mac. I just get a gray screen. And for se reason I am unable to post on the dangerlands forums with my iPod. Does your iPhone work on them? I flick te white text bod and it won't ever let me select it and start typing.
Yes I did see the idea, it's been noted I haven't tried using my iPhone with the forums yet. I was talking to a Mac user online who was using Safari yesterday, so I do know it will work. I used it on my Mac with FF as well. There was one other report of a crash on Windows 7 while entering the world though.
To anyone in the test right now, I just crashed the server finally, so that's why it's so quiet ingame now... Rejoin!
haha get us some pictures of armour, weapons and capes as soon as he makes them, I really like the hair models. Tell him good job.
Thanks to everyone who jumped in tonight to help test. For the most part we had strong connections. Next up is formally testing some networked commands, like moving around, hurling spells. Don't have a scheduled time in yet, but we do want to test often. The server will stay up and running in the meantime, feel free to come in anytime! Linky I want to add that beta slots for the iPhone client are limited, so when it's time to set that up, we of course will place priority with those who we know will give us good feedback. These tests help weed those folks out now!
