RTS operation was difficult on small screen,I think action game is more suitable for iPhone. But don't worry. This is the first episode,It was planning game on iPhone. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 704 113 #4 anthony78, Aug 10, 2019 This does look cool. Also wish it was on iPhone. FWIW, there are a good number of other RTS games on iPhone and this looks a bit less crowded control wise than some of those. Asp Well-Known Member Aug 3, 2017 769 196 43 #5 Asp, Aug 10, 2019 First mission set at night. Can’t see much, (take a look at screen shots above). Unable to see if there are any healing areas, and the zoom function is missing. Units leave screen and I can’t zoom out to get them back. Completed after 3 tries. Second mission. Daytime. Much better but still no zoom bar. This time the screen is zoomed right out so the units are tiny. Tapping on them is hit and miss. Hard work so far. mico Member Aug 5, 2019 7 2 3 Male #6 mico, Aug 10, 2019 Thank you and Sorry for that. At Mission 2,it's a little dark, may be should make it lighter. Second mission and Third mission has no camera control, because the stage is small(mission 3 may add camera control later). At some times,if unit geting out of screen, you can select enemy unit to call your unit force attack first,so they can come in screen again. Asp likes this. Thanks also for the tip on retrieving units using the enemy select function. Solves that issue. I completed mission 3 with a narrow one star victory. It’s an interesting level requiring some thought and orcanisation. Getting used to the game now, and how best to use units. There’s some good design going on here. Really helpful are the squares where units can be stationed without their moving. Useful vantage points for archers. Saves a lot of tapping and micro-management. Not so sure about using the patrol paths yet. I prefer keeping a group of infantry available to move quickly where needed. As such, it would be great to have just one button to which a selected group could be assigned. Now for mission 4. Looks slightly scary. mico Member Aug 5, 2019 7 2 3 Male #8 mico, Aug 10, 2019 I will fix mission 2 & 3 as soon as possible. Thanks again. Asp Well-Known Member Aug 3, 2017 769 196 43 #9 Asp, Aug 10, 2019 Attempted mission 4 on three occasions and every time crashed to desktop at different points in the mission. iPad air 2. ios 12.4 mico Member Aug 5, 2019 7 2 3 Male #10 mico, Aug 11, 2019 Sorry about that again. I test it mission 4 on iPad Air 2 run at iOS 12.4,it's running normal ,no crash happened. The game require 2G Ram iPad to run, please check your iPad was released after 2014.10,and the oldest device could run the game is iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 4,before or older than that was only 1G Ram. Asp Well-Known Member Aug 3, 2017 769 196 43 #11 Asp, Aug 11, 2019 Thanks again for your reply. I thought it seemed like a memory issue but didn’t know about the Air 2 having different amounts of Ram. It seems I have the older device with 1Gb so will have to make do with the first four missions until upgrade time. mico Member Aug 5, 2019 7 2 3 Male #12 mico, Aug 11, 2019 You can check the model of iPad. At the bottom of iPad's backside, there is a description of it,you can find some text like 'Model AXXXX','AXXXX' is the model name. And search it using google. Asp likes this. Asp Well-Known Member Aug 3, 2017 769 196 43 #13 Asp, Aug 11, 2019 Turns out my iPad does have 2Gb. It also has a ton of apps installed. Rebooting to clear the Ram has stopped the crashes, so can now progress with mission 4. Interesting noises, but sounds too messy to give it a shot atm - given the game queue I’ve built up over the last week or five.
