My new adventure, Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Don’t Dry, takes me – whatever the route or twist of fate – from the end of the ’80s directly into the 21st century and wow, how the world has changed! In a “point & click” adventure I’d call typical for the genre we mutually experience how I fall head-over-heels in love with Faith, the hot-to-trot assistant to the boss at Prune, a technology enterprise successful worldwide. Since even dating is done digitally nowadays, the first thing I have to do is to work on my score at Timber, the totally hip, can’t-get-anywhere-without-it dating app where I date women, satisfy their needs, and accordingly pick up points for my Timber profile. And whenever I get a chance in between, always briefly check out a few new bikini pix at Instacrap – the 21st century is gnarly smill! Features: - Leisure Suit Larry is coming in the 21st century – and no, there’s no word missing here - Explore a lovingly designed, non-linear game world set in the modern world with over 30 handdrawn venues - Use “Timber”, the ingame app, along with an innovative dating mechanism to date women, consequently improve your score at Timber, and ultimately clear the way to get to Faith, the women of your dreams - Solve true-blue puzzles and interact with over 30 handdrawn characters Information Seller:Assemble Entertainment Genre:Adventure Release:Aug 01, 2019 Updated:Apr 25, 2020 Version:1.0.7 Size:2.3 GB TouchArcade Rating:Unrated User Rating:Unrated Your Rating:unrated Compatibility:HD Universal malaheart Well-Known Member Jun 18, 2010 221 11 18 Male Angel Melbourne, Australia #2 malaheart, Aug 4, 2019 Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry | First 10 Minutes on Switch metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #3 metalcasket, Aug 5, 2019 Larry’s back and he’s not charging for entrance. It was the first time I had ever encountered an age verification process, which basically asked questions that only people over the age of 18 would be likely to know the answers to. Pleasantly surprised to see a verification page in Wet Dreams too! I mean, it’s optional, but it’s there. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #8 metalcasket, Aug 5, 2019 Yoooooo, the humor is absolutely on point! It's definitely not the Al Lowe humor of the past (not surprising given he's not involved with this) and I think they even take a snarky jab at him early on, but this is really doing it for me right now. Undoubtedly forking over the cash once I hit the paywall. Gambler likes this. Gambler Well-Known Member Mar 10, 2014 546 110 43 Gazorpazorp #9 Gambler, Aug 5, 2019 Agreed. Loved the game on PC, bought it again for iOS. It‘s funny, the puzzles are neatly balanced - not too easy nor too hard - and there are many hours of story and gameplay, especially for an adventure. Great Point’n’Click as long as one doesn’t mind the lecherous 80s guy protagonist metalcasket likes this. bungle_tez Well-Known Member Feb 9, 2016 61 12 8 #10 bungle_tez, Aug 5, 2019 OMG the memories.... waiting the dad was asleep so I could boot up the old 286 to play this Instant buy from me! anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 704 113 #11 anthony78, Aug 5, 2019 Can’t afford this right now with all my recent purchases but see the original game is still available for $1.99. Not iPhone X supported but still may grab it for a little stroll down memory lane. Also may help judge if I still like this stuff so many years later before making an investment into this one. The puzzles are more balanced, logical and there are no dead ends or perma-deaths (there are deaths but they are more of a funny retro gimmick: They don‘t have much consequences as you‘re set back to the same spot before your death). So, even if you don‘t like the original one anymore because of reasons like the ones mentioned there‘s still a good chance you‘d enjoy this title. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #14 metalcasket, Jan 22, 2020 Now comes with the Happy Ending epilogue included in the base price!
