The gameplay itself is probably a 4:3 ratio so probably have borders even on older phones. boydstr Well-Known Member Sep 25, 2016 155 11 18 Male Gamer Netherlands #6 boydstr, Jul 18, 2019 I played Flashback on the SNES a long time ago this remake is better in the sound department have more graphical options the game is a fantastic experience with action type gameplay beautiful graphics great sound and story too match it is an overall package that gives you a very cool gameplay experience the only thing that I like to see is mfi because games are made to play with an controller. psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,966 718 113 England #7 psj3809, Jul 18, 2019 Disagree. I’m on iOS 13 would have liked to be able to use a PS4 controller with this, anyways this is one of my favourite games still have it on my sega megadrive from 1993 anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 703 113 #10 anthony78, Jul 18, 2019 Anyone know how to jump higher or double jump? I’m stuck at the beginning of the game where you are apparently supposed to go to the screen above you (also confirmed in a walkthrough) but cannot get it to go up with a normal jump. The developer made some changes in the health department because health refills after some seconds I played the game on touchscreen but the game really needs controller support because I made a lot of mistakes just because there are some really difficult jumps were you need to make some very precise jumps. It was long ago when I played this game for the last time and it is still a really good game. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 703 113 #17 anthony78, Jul 19, 2019 Got a refund. Just way to frustrating with touch controls IMO. Not to mention it being a difficult game to begin with. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #18 metalcasket, Jul 19, 2019 That’s a shame. Did you try switching to the virtual buttons before refunding? I mean, the game IS hard and the controls can be fiddly, but it’s still a timeless game that’s worth experiencing (either as a fresh player or one that plays it time and time again). anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 703 113 #19 anthony78, Jul 19, 2019 Yep, tried both. Not at all worth it IMO with either touch controls. Much rather keep fond memories of it than have it ruined by new ones. Just my 2 cents. Excalipur Well-Known Member Jan 5, 2017 52 2 8 #20 Excalipur, Jul 20, 2019 In fairness, even back in the day the SNES/Genesis controls were still a bit tricky. I’ve been liking the traditional control scheme here, and there are actually some good adjustments that make things easier. Also, the intro jungle is more of a crash course in all the variables. Things smooth out later. (You must log in or sign up to post here.) Show Ignored Content Page 1 of 2 1 2 Next > Share This Page Tweet Your name or email address: Do you already have an account?
