Do well enough in the 9 rooms and you can ascribe your starting form a permanent upgrade or 3 (the upgrades are persistent but you're free to choose each run which form gets them), but a single run is never more than the 9 rooms, so make them count. Actually, after a few games I now think I fully understand all of the hero powers. One question still for the pros, can you ever gain back lost health for your various characters? solarnya Well-Known Member Jul 22, 2015 907 287 63 Male Close to Tokyo, Japan #11 solarnya, Jul 16, 2019 Last edited: Jul 16, 2019 I'm too unskilled so embressed but I tried to take a video. Guise Well-Known Member Jul 10, 2009 2,027 14 38 #15 Guise, Jul 21, 2019 Michael Brough is the king. I am not very good at his games--I recently felt inordinately proud of scoring over 100 with every character in Imbroglio--but would choose them if I could only have games from one developer on my phone. LordGek, I don't think you can regain health. At least it's not mentioned in the invaluable vivafringe's character guide. See that here: https://vivafringe.wordpress.com/2019/07/19/p1-select-character-guide/ Serious question: does anyone know if his last name is pronounced "bro" or "brogue"? I thought it was "bro" but describing his games as "broughlikes" makes me think it's "brogue". Just curious. vivafringe Well-Known Member May 10, 2014 85 16 8 #16 vivafringe, Jul 22, 2019 Thanks! Glad you liked the guide. It's pronounced "bro". Guise Well-Known Member Jul 10, 2009 2,027 14 38 #17 Guise, Jul 22, 2019 Last edited: Jul 22, 2019 Thank you! Your blog posts, as well as posts on these forums, have helped clarify some of the more esoteric aspects of MB's games and kept me fascinated with the complexity he manages to achieve using seemingly simple building blocks. And thanks for the name confirmation. Guise Well-Known Member Jul 10, 2009 2,027 14 38 #18 Guise, Jul 22, 2019 Last edited: Jul 22, 2019 Double post! I'm a little unsure how the scoring works. I get that your average score is taken from 16 (or 15 with the starting bonus) games that you've played. The lowest score is crossed out when you have that third ability. I guess I'm wondering how does scoring work after the median score of 16 games (or 15) is set. If my lowest score is 5 and I then manage 7 on the next game, does the 7 replace the 5 as my lowest and thus increases my average a little bit? Will my crossed out low score be removed from the table if I score a bit higher, making that new and slightly better score now my low score? Or are your scores locked after completing 16 games, forcing you to reset/redownload the game and start all over with hopefully more knowledge and skill? It's early and I'm only half-recovered from a late showing of MIDSOMMAR—I hope this makes some sense. Thanks in advance for any info or advice.
