I’m not sure how to post new games but I caught this one yesterday when searching to see if the Seaport devs had any other games. Seems like it just released yesterday. Feel free to delete my thread and make a new one for the game properly. I’m not really a fan of trains but I like Seaport and it’s had constant updates and events by the devs so thought I would give this a shot and it’s pretty good as far a tycoon/sim type games go. Has to be played in small doses but the graphics are really good and I suppose you could stay on it doing the shorter contracts instead. I’m just happy it doesn’t have a damn monthly subscription those are becoming too common for me. I’m paying it for one game I enjoy I wouldn’t pay monthly for more than one. The developers are particularly good with community support; always something happening and sometimes hosting live video discussions with staff. Here are the current in-game redeem codes for various bonus items from their Facebook page. How far are you so far? I got those codes on Facebook too and seen comments of people saying they are level 49 or having 5k parts etc already and I feel like I’ve been playing a fair bit and I’m level 21 so far. Also just wondering if you spend your keys on new trains and breakdown the extras for parts or if you buy parts? So far I’ve mostly been buying parts once I’ve got 5 trains and just level those up and only occasionally buy a new train hoping for a better one. Asp Well-Known Member Aug 3, 2017 769 196 43 #5 Asp, Jul 14, 2019 I’m just up to level 8 from playing a few minutes per day. I don’t think my train assignments have been very efficient. It took me a while to figure out the wagon timings which vary between 3 and 30 minutes. I’ve got that sorted now so should be making better progress! ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #6 ste86uk, Jul 14, 2019 Ah cool, it gets better so far I have the timers from 30 sec to 2 hours so I imagine it gets longer the further you go so you can choose which to complete depending on your time like in seaport which is good. Although I’ve had the same issue 3 times now where my game keeps rolling itself back an hour or more with my progress so it’s like I never did anything. Asp Well-Known Member Aug 3, 2017 769 196 43 #7 Asp, Jul 14, 2019 Ok, thanks. I’ll watch out for that situation with progress being lost. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #8 ste86uk, Jul 14, 2019 It’s very frustrating it just happened again and I lost the last half hour I’ve been playing. Hopefully it’s just teething issues with it being new and it’ll be sorted soon. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #9 ste86uk, Jul 18, 2019 Haven’t had the issue for a few days now, seems like they are on it with trying to fix any bugs and issues. Still enjoying my time on the game and finding it more strategic so more tycoon like in deciding what to do with my trains to best use the time efficiently. Asp Well-Known Member Aug 3, 2017 769 196 43 #10 Asp, Jul 18, 2019 Good to know they have fixed it. I’m still only playing a few minutes at a time so wasn’t affected by that bug. Just reached level 11 and interested to see they have included a seaport as well, harking back to their previous game. Something else to collect resources for! ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #11 ste86uk, Jul 18, 2019 There is a ship in your station that unlocks although I can’t remember what level? I thought you would have by 11 but I don’t remember. You fill orders for that and get plans for upgrading your population, although the ships take 15 hours for a new one after completing it.
