I like that it’s more actively played and not an idle game anymore. So anyone that was put off by the last one being an idle game give this a go. You chose your skills, talents and gear to make builds and play styles and the character does run himself but he will die without you there to use your abilities tactically. It seems like the same game with a few new bells and whistles, but much much more pay to win. Not entirely sure why the developers decided to create an Energy based system to keep people from playing and progressing more. Also the game does have keys which sucks as I’d like to not have those as a kind of energy system. But it doesn’t stop you actually playing the game you can still play while you have no keys you still earn gold but no loot without a key. Also it benefits you to play without keys as you progress further and then get better loot when you have keys and fight harder levels. But really it’s to be expected with a f2p game they have to make money somewhere. I love premium games and have spent a lot on them this month but not all f2p games are bad with their mechanics. Mighty Quest is a little different because you control the character movement directly, and aim the skills. So it’s a little more “hands on”. Both games look great tho.
