Really enjoying this game so far. Was watching the tweets on Twitter about this game and have been following the progress and waiting for release. Really nice casual game to play. Great game either way, having lots of fun. fiskadoro Well-Known Member Jan 1, 2009 326 17 18 Chicago, IL #9 fiskadoro, May 24, 2019 I've tried this and I think it has potential, but I must admit I find the steering really tricky and even with sensitivity turned down, it feels pretty brutal. Also, the brakes overheating so quickly seems crazy, I barely have time to stop. Maybe things are different with other cars or with upgrades. Lull4by Well-Known Member Aug 21, 2014 767 313 63 #10 Lull4by, May 24, 2019 Brake is for turning, not for stopping actually, you can't stop the car at all. To drift, just start turning then hit the other direction to brake and start the drift. There’s a tiny yellow bar that has a “1” next to it that seems like a score multiplier of some sort. For those just starting out, my suggestion (or at least this is what I did) is to use the second free car in the list - the ‘73 Rebel Bubble - and upgrade everything but the speed. I found it’s easier to control at lower speeds. I eventually bought the 1984 Doggo. Now I’m leaning towards one of the higher priced vehicles. Also, I don’t usually get damaged too much so don’t go out of your way to hit the roadside garages unless your damage is critical. On the other hand, fueling up at gas stations whenever possible is a good idea. I’ve unlocked The United Kingdom Snowplow level. Seems the streets are more narrow as well as being covered in snow. And what are those things that were donuts in the USA level? They look like dog treats #Drive is a surprisingly polished game with minimal ads between levels, considering how long a run can be. And even then, they’re the skip-after-five-seconds kind. I can deal with that. Car never really steers straight and laggy. It shouldn’t be a getting use to thing, they need to be tightened up. We’ve had many many great racers like this with superb controls. When I hear get use to, it means they are odd. This is the only thing holding it back. I'm kinda hoping this turns the game into premium like the one time unlock of horizon chase or pinout. Any more freemium crap in there? Timers, loot boxes, 3 separete currencies, forced ads? The game looks quite good and would be a no brainer with an upfront price. Well for me it would be...
