The free download covers the first two chapters which includes the tutorial. Then there is a one off purchase which opens up the full 10 chapters (which I haven’t bought yet). No other iap’s. Game starts off quite easy but soon picks up and you need to use some brain matter to achieve full star rating for each battle. There is cloud support so you can continue games on other devices, though it seems a bit buggy and the option is not always showing to use the cloud save atm, but that might be just me. Anyway I have contacted the devs. Some battle maps are quite large and not as restricted as the screenshots might suggest. Game looks and plays great on large iPad Pro and iPhone 8 plus. Son of Anarchy Well-Known Member Oct 5, 2015 717 130 43 Male Shadow Runner Australia #4 Son of Anarchy, May 10, 2019 Thanks Stubbieoz for finding and posting this game, I’ve been having a lot of fun with it. I went in not expecting much and within ten minutes I unlocked all ten chapters. Was easy at first but then the difficulty started rising at a perfect (for me) rate. This might not look like much at first glance, but if you give it a chance you’ll find a really good game full of tactics & strategy, with a very well written adventurous story as a bonus. If you liked games like the Kingturn series (by Mangobile) or Swords of Anima then you’ll have a lot of fun here. You don’t need the concentration level of Panzer Corps to play, but there is still depth and choice in every move you make. There’s three goals to achieve for each different map, one that is required to pass the level and two optional goals that are a bit different and well thought out. I’ve been enjoying tryna get all three so usually it means playing each level twice. There’s lots of different characters to develop and add/remove from your party. I think there’s plenty of content for the price they’re asking. I did a little research on the devs and they seem like two very sincere and funny guys, even the app description is worth reading. Here’s hoping the game does well for them. jkluk23 and stubbieoz like this. stubbieoz Well-Known Member Jun 23, 2015 1,880 358 83 Male Grey haired gamer NSW Australia #5 stubbieoz, May 10, 2019 I received the following reply from the devs from email I sent them: “Thanks for your questions! Chapters 3-10 tell a full story and add 20+hours of gameplay. As far as adding more, we have plans to add more chapters if there is enough demand. We might even be able to add some extra content this month. For the cloud saves, if they are enabled on one device and the second device is connected to the same iCloud account, opening the game on the second device should prompt you to restore from iCloud. If you are having issues with this feature, please let us know. Zooming in and out is a great idea for a feature! I'll make sure it gets added to the list of features we want to implement. Thanks for playing! And let us know if you have any other questions, The Asgardian Games Team” [email protected] NOTE- the description above states the game is 1.6Gig. I checked on my iPad and the installed size is actually 816Meg. @ Son of Anarchy The Kingturn games and Sword of Anima are among my favourites. I also have Tactics Maiden (same dev as Kingturn) and imho that was one of the best until the dev decided to update only the pc version. Glad to hear you like this game. I just bought the full game myself. These sort of games are perfect for playing on my big iPad Pro. I’m just into chapter 2, just before Greenwood village and there is a battle where you have to kill Snot before he runs away to get all three stars. Just wondering if you were able to do it? He runs away as soon as you get within range. I am guessing that you might either get a longer range weapon or another character later that will do it. I was like hey, get back here! I’m pretty certain all you have to do is hit him once before he disappears, and not necessarily kill him. I’ll try again now. Edit: Yeah the requisite is to ‘Hit Snot’. My guys and gals are around level 7-8 at the moment - just then I just went in hard and fired off a shot from Miss Archer and hit him easily enough. I think I may be over levelled a bit though. I think we’ve spoken before about finding all the loot and getting every star before moving on, that’s what I’ve done so far with this game too. stubbieoz Well-Known Member Jun 23, 2015 1,880 358 83 Male Grey haired gamer NSW Australia #7 stubbieoz, May 11, 2019 Hummm, nope. ☹️ I move my archer gal far as possible in the first turn and Snot is not within range. When I move her again he runs away. Happens every time. She is only lvl 5 though. Maybe her range improves in a level or so? She only has a range of 2. I’m trying to go further and level her up and then go back. Perhaps I could try lowering the difficulty from challenge to standard mode? I haven’t had enough runes to use any on her yet. Maybe I need to increase her accuracy or somethink? Buggered if I know Son of Anarchy Well-Known Member Oct 5, 2015 717 130 43 Male Shadow Runner Australia #8 Son of Anarchy, May 11, 2019 Ok, I’m playing on the easier difficulty so that must be it. I have enough time to kill everyone and then tie my shoelaces before I stroll on up to Snot and wack him. I umm (cough) planned on replaying on the harder difficulty later. stubbieoz Well-Known Member Jun 23, 2015 1,880 358 83 Male Grey haired gamer NSW Australia #9 stubbieoz, May 11, 2019 Last edited: May 12, 2019 Thanks. I dropped the difficulty down to standard and exactly the same thing happens.... Snot runs away before he is within range. Can you check if your Mia has a range of 2 and if her movement range is 4 please. The only way I can see hitting him before he leaves is if either of these were a higher value. Sorry to keep on this but it’s really bugging me lol. Oh and also one thing I just found out. If you start on the higher difficulty and drop it down to the lower difficulty you can’t go back to the higher difficulty. Lucky I am not too far into the game..... it’s back to the starting line for me. EDIT; Okay, finally did it and it was all my own fault. Solution was staring me in the face. Had to rethink stragety and had to rely on the AI being a bit stupid. That worked.
