I'm the developer - just wanted to jump in and say thank you to everyone who has played the game! If you haven't heard of me, I used to work for Nitrome as an artist and designer on titles like Rust Bucket, Hop Swap and Turn Undead 2. If anybody has any feedback I'd love to hear it. I'm proud of Magnibox but I'd love to hear what other people think! Almost finished the first world. It’s got that Nitrome style pixel art that Joseph Gribbin is known for and the gameplay is solid. Starts off simple and gradually eases you into its mechanics. There is no timer so you can play without any pressure. The swipe and tap controls work well. Quick and easy to restart or rewind moves too. slewis7, solarnya and ROGER-NL like this. solarnya Well-Known Member Jul 22, 2015 907 287 63 Male Close to Tokyo, Japan #7 solarnya, May 10, 2019 Thanks for recommendation. Just bought and passed 15th level so far. Level design is so clever and control works great. There are no timers and no star ratings(I personally don't like them) so very relaxing! Had those been in the game I would have instantly turned away, but instead I'm compelled to poke, swipe and prod my screen at my heart's content, which is what makes this so engrossing. ste86uk likes this. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #12 ste86uk, May 11, 2019 Definitely as I always want to get 3 stars and some games make that extremely hard to get which for me makes it less fun and move counters I hate too. Even in platformers I hate timers like in mario I prefer to take things at my own pace and explore like in mario odyssey. Just had a quick go and did the first 14 levels and I definitely want to play more it’s already making me feel clever just with some of the mechanics and easy puzzles so far. I already feel like the level designs are clever too which is important for games like this. aussiepaul Well-Known Member Aug 18, 2013 130 36 28 #13 aussiepaul, May 11, 2019 Last edited: May 11, 2019 I must say that on finishing a difficult level this game has a satisfying way of making me feel clever Well done Joseph. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #14 ste86uk, May 12, 2019 I do play puzzle games in small doses so have only just beat the first world and started the second. Still really liking the game and think the levels are designed really well and the music and graphics suit the game. Just wondering what are the diamonds? I found some hidden diamonds on one level or crystals whatever they are and just wondering how many there are to collect in each world or are they just in one level of each world as the name for the world now has a picture of one next to it.
