Looks very promising, but unless I’m missing something, it’s showing as not universal so I’m out unfortunately. Edit: On second thoughts, the tutorial video on the next page sold me. Hopefully Universal support is added at a later date. Edit2: The game is now universal ioso and Gwarmaxx like this. The artwork is great and crystal clear and a double tap enlarges a card, so I can easily play without my glasses on. My problem is that I'm trying to figure out how to play. The tutorial doesn't give much guidance and there is a help screen, but it only gives basic stuff. However, I love the artwork and look of this, so I'm going to keep playing until I figure it out. And not sure if it’s a bug but I’ve had where you zoom in to a card and can’t do anything. Yet the timer keeps going. It seems the only thing I can do is discard. Tapping on an dungeon card doesn’t do anything, and trying to place a card onto myself or the monster doesn’t work either. coloncruncher Well-Known Member Mar 14, 2016 76 2 8 #7 coloncruncher, Apr 25, 2019 For those of you who are having troubles with the rules look up the rules for the Munchkin card game, this seems to be a very close tribute to that game. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 703 113 #8 anthony78, Apr 25, 2019 Last edited: Apr 25, 2019 The “rules” are kind of explained in the help section of this game too but the implementation of those rules is another thing. This is a digital game. You need to be told HOW to move the cards on the screen. Where to drag things, etc. So reading rules for a physical game is not going to help. This game needs serious work on a true tutorial on not just the rules but how to actually do it on the screen. The only thing that it says is where to drag potions but that doesn’t even seem to work. I think the game is broken. Even after a battle that I “lost”, I can’t get another dungeon card to come up. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 703 113 #9 anthony78, Apr 25, 2019 Contacted the dev on his Discord for the game. In the short term I will play a game and put it on YouTube for folks to see. I will put in a more advanced tutorial soon. Most likely, after your loss, you exceeded the maximum cards. The discard deck should have a particle effect showing your next move. The chat log on the upper right should mention the player has exceeded maximum cards. It really plays like a 4 players only tabletop game. Actually it’s pretty easy. When it starts, you equip whatever items, companion, races, job cards you have. Wich will give you your « base » attack. Then you can draw a card/attack a monster Either you have the base strength to kill the monster so you just wait for the 3 seconds timer to expire. Or you add potion the meet the STR requierement to kill the monster. Hopefully you kill it and get loot cards, you want them. Other players, while it’s your turn can play potions cards on the monster to boost him so you will loose. You can do the same on their turn. There are other cards that can change the outcome of a battle too. You get a lvl everytime you defeat one. First player to get lvl 10 wins. Games plays kinda slow, but maybe it’s just me. And please, add music and Sfx. Just ask me if there is something you don’t get! Ijipop Well-Known Member Jul 25, 2012 557 268 63 #14 Ijipop, Apr 25, 2019 It’s actually a pretty decent game. When buying extensions is it possible to play the « basic » game and incorporate the one you want? Or are they all included and cannot be unselected?!? I like what you tried to create though. The CPU, waiting last second to play a card, just like when playing against humans. But for me it just feels like it slows down the game. Since you only play 1 out of 4 turns I feel like I’m watching 3 grandmas playing. For me you are this close to a solid 5 stars game! Congrats PBSNellie Well-Known Member Jul 7, 2013 1,381 168 63 Southern CA #20 PBSNellie, Apr 25, 2019 I was starting to think I was hopelessly stupid when it all clicked. There are a lot of choices to make. Do you use your potion to assist a monster? only when the AI fighting has a higher level than you so that they can't advance. Keep an eye out when you are fighting because as said above, the other players can help the monster. My suggestions: Make the potion cards actually have an effect besides just a number adding power. Give a choice of one, two or three AI players. Is PVP a future option? and finally, find a way to make the game universal. TheMonsterGame and Ijipop like this.
