Grabbed it and played through the tutorial. Pretty fun. When you attack it’s based on the number of troops you have vs the number of monsters they have. But it’s also based on your morale which you gain through victories. Taking over towns gains you troops as well. You also have special abilities, which you have to mana type points like an RPG. It’s not likely to be something I can’t wait to play but it’s pretty good. It is a simple tbs game but is still obviously strategic and the graphics and missions so far are great and giving me a story to play along with on the single player part of the game. I haven’t tried multiplayer yet but it’s nice to see its there. Overall so far I would not have paid full price for this despite the obvious love that has gone into this game making it feel very polished.
