Craft a unique deck, encounter bizarre creatures, discover relics of immense power, and Dark Dungeon Survival -Lophis Fate Card Rougelike is a single-player RPG card game. The game incorporates the popular Roguelike game elements and creates rich unknowns and diversity, ensuring that the game experience is different for each time. In the game world, players need to make choices when encounter emergencies, and defeat the enemies in the adventure combat by establishing card group strategies so as to complete the adventure tour of the roles. 【Independent role story】 There are six different careers of roles with different career skills and exclusive cards. Each role has an independent plot and independent battle ending. 【Different chapters of the plot】 A total of four chapters are included. Maps and the regional guardians of each chapter are randomly generated. Players need to defeat the final boss to clear the stage. 【A Large number of emergencies】 Random emergencies will occur during the game and different decisions need to be made so the entire adventure may be influenced. Currently more than 60 emergencies have been designed in the game. 【Brain-burning card group building】 The card group building in the game adopts the method of DBG, which means players do not have to choose from a big card pool to build their own card group. There will be a set of initial card groups according to different careers. Players can constantly acquire other cards during the game process and gradually perfect the card groups that are suit them. I'm giving it a pass on further investment for now. Legion180 Well-Known Member Jul 23, 2015 204 57 28 #4 Legion180, Mar 21, 2019 Why do many devs pick this japanese style for the game? There’s just too much of it recently... No offense to the devs, I just don’t understand this... Legion180 Well-Known Member Jul 23, 2015 204 57 28 #5 Legion180, Mar 21, 2019 Well, that’s the price to pay when the publisher/developer is Chinese. They put iaps in every aspect of the game. Well, most of them. Talbs Well-Known Member May 1, 2011 2,616 377 83 #6 Talbs, Mar 21, 2019 Please people. Please give this a proper try BEFORE passing judgement on iap this time around. Seems like little variation in the cards and little strategy compared to others like this. Don’t think the IAPs are horrible. And seems you can watch ads to recover health, etc. But honestly a game like Silent Abyss is much better, deeper and has a fair IAP system for characters. Same with Night of the Full Moon. I played it for about 30 minutes and as far as the early game is, it's very enjoyable. I like the graphics, sound effects, and animations. There's a simple story that Silent Abyss lacks and the game just looks more "lively". Silent Abyss felt very barren the more I played it because of how little animations there were and the entire design felt very simplistic to me. Not sure how heavily the IAP influences the core game but if the game is still enjoyable after another 1-2 hours I might just spend some money. I think the "special" advertised shows there's a Pharmacist character included in the IAP. The only downside currently is that the screen isn't designed for the notches on the iPhone X so part of the UI is blocked (though it doesn't affect the important parts). I didn't like Silent Abyss as much as the others and think this looks much better. As for depth, that remains to be seen. Night of the Full Moon is probably still the best of these RPG card games but that game's huge downside is that it requires Internet Connection to use any of the expansions bought in the game. There’s at least 162 cards already in the game. Not sure if obtainable for both or more characters but it’s still plenty. And they do some quite different stuff, that’s for sure. But what about mention of the completely different mechanics? The fact that the characters unlock skills that interact with the cards you play (like “For every 3 of certain card played, gain one more card”). The skills are kind of like StS relics but interact more directly with the cards. And that the “map” is free for you to explore, and each node on the map is your choice whether you want to try it (having found out what it is), but there’s also a kind of timer on the map that you can’t allow to actually catch up with you (a bit like the map on FTL where the rebels are chasing you). Each monster you’re fighting also has hint text for you to try and work out how to deal with it best. And energy is also persistent through turns (pretty sure), but this one is now a common twist but still, a twist all the same. I say the game is pretty decent. I’ve put a couple of hours to it and still going strong and still very intrigued without thought of iap just yet. We’ll see. aconfusedkender Well-Known Member Sep 28, 2012 1,362 122 63 Oil & Gas Kendermore, Ansalon #10 aconfusedkender, Mar 22, 2019 Yeah I agree this game has been very fun so far. Never picked up Night of the Full Moon nor Silent Abyss since I’ve never been able to get into “card” games so wasn’t sure if I can get into these type of games. Beat the first boss (lvl 3) start the second stage with all paths being flooded with 3 monsters of levels 5-6, and this went on until the boss was lvl 13 and had crazy healing.
