I was just casually browsing my phone then I saw the app there on my home screen! (because I preordered) I'm excited to see how this game is. I saw the IAP is very cheap but I'm hoping the actual game itself is good. Fingers crossed. ----------- Played for about 30 minutes and wow I am so impressed! From pulling the tab to turn on your Noa to all the old school sounds, this brings back great memories. There seems to be plenty to do for your Noa, from mini games, exercise, feeding, buying things for your Pet, and cleaning (I love how the poop and water bubbles have to be cleaned off of the device). Outside of the Noa, you can earn stars to change the design of your room, avatar, and gaming device. Everything is well made with beautiful interfaces and devices. There's really so much to do and lots of Noa's to collect. Plus and intriguing story about producing these pets. I can see this game lasting a long long time. As for critiques, 1) I wish the Noa took up more of the screen area, it's still rather small and seems like a lot of wasted space. Also I would've preferred if they used color pixel graphics like the newer Tamagochis. I know the art is supposed to be extremely old school but I can't help but think it would've looked so much better with color at least. 2) I wish there was a true "back button". They stay true to the original buttons of the old pets so you have to literally scroll all the way through a list to find that X / BACK button in the Noa menu. You can't just exit out of a menu like on contemporary media devices. So you'll end up taking a long time navigating through the many options. 3) The game should be quicker to start up. You have to go through 3 company logos, a loading screen, then the logo of the game - to reach your Noa. The original pets you pick up whenever to check on them. This somewhat long load time will end up bugging users who want to constantly check on their pets. Unless the app stays open in the background it feels a bit tiring opening the app constantly. And I checked the IAP and though the prices are reasonable, I saw they're all consumables. I really wish this game had some kind of permanent IAP (like to remove ads). I'm totally not into consumable IAP but with the incredible quality of this game, I wish I could buy something worthwhile. And unfortunately there's a persistent "watch ads" button on the bottom of the main screen forever. and probably won't go away until you watch an ad. So overall, I'm very very impressed but there are still shortcomings that I wish could be addressed in the future. (Biggest plus for me, totally offline game. Take your pet anywhere like a real one. No wifi required) BaronMunchausen Well-Known Member Feb 22, 2017 57 13 8 #3 BaronMunchausen, Feb 13, 2019 Anyone know how to visit their towns? I’m already stuck. Pfft! L.Lawliet Well-Known Member Jun 28, 2011 6,405 420 83 #5 L.Lawliet, Feb 14, 2019 Found some huge bugs. I posted this in the noanoa reddit since the devs don't visit here: Later on when hatching a new egg, the game will tell you that some eggs need sound to hatch and need microphone access. I don't like this idea of leaving the mic on but I decided to do it anyways. I gave it access then the sound when to almost nothing. Thinking it was a glitch, I turned off mic access, force reset the app, force reset the phone, and nothing. The entire game, even at MAX phone volume, I can barely hear anything. The sound is still there but it's almost muted. I'm so close to deleting the game from this. Also I had an issue where an ad played in the middle of my game (space invaders) session. Is that normal? It totally ruined my winning game. There is a possibility that I hit the ad gift button but I received no gift box. If this is the case then I really think a hot fix should immediately be implemented to move the ad button to the top right of the screen. I'm not sure why the play add button is in the dead center of the control input, right next to a button you click the most. This is so easy to mistap. Unless that was the intention?
