Here is what we are preparing for our next Major Update - Improved User Experience and UI - Changing to stages based system where you can choose which stage you wish to play. - 5x5 stages, 6x6 stages. - Infinity Mode - We are also considering subscription model for the game. Subscription will get rid of all the banner ads in the game. If you have any cool ideas, please let us know what you think! BTW. Couple of other things we are considering is PvP mode. PBSNellie Well-Known Member Jul 7, 2013 1,381 168 63 Southern CA #8 PBSNellie, Mar 7, 2019 Instead of a subscription to remove ads, how about a one-time IAP purchase? Most people would go for that. treeplanter Well-Known Member Nov 20, 2012 120 9 18 Indie Game Dev Seoul, Korea #9 treeplanter, Mar 8, 2019 Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, we wanted to just make it simple with IAP too. But we wanted to prepare a pvp mode on our next major update like battlenet. We didn't want to monetize using IAP on PvP, so we are thinking really hard to make it happen covering the server costs. So if we start charging players with IAP, then I think players will hate us for charging them again on the PvP. What do you think? Beth Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Jan 29, 2014 126 8 18 Professional do-nothing'er Eastern usa #10 Beth, Mar 12, 2019 Totally get the dilemma.... In an ideal world, Everything would be premium/pay once to unlock.... Mobile games have spoiled us, they are so affordable and abundant. Yet developers are almost expected to maintain & update indefinitely, it’s absurd...I’m honestly not sure how a small dev can do all this, and not go bankrupt. Even $60 console games have IAP and subscription models... Soo...yeah Subscriptions do seem like a good solution...as long as a player feels like they are getting something for their $ ...I could see thus working out... I’d buy a subscription that say ...guarantees a certain # of additional levels per month....I actually think I might prefer that over micro-transactions/IAP ....especially games that I play daily I really enjoy this game and hope to see it succeed treeplanter Well-Known Member Nov 20, 2012 120 9 18 Indie Game Dev Seoul, Korea #11 treeplanter, Mar 28, 2019 Thanks, We decided to take out Subscription mode and just go with ads.
