Asp Well-Known Member Aug 3, 2017 769 196 43 #2 Asp, Jan 30, 2019 This has an effective new retro old school style that doesn’t get bogged down with unnecessary detail. I have little knowledge of real-world football except that it’s very much a pay-to-win sport and that aspect is well reflected here. I can’t afford to buy or train anyone but selling rubbish players is paying the bills at the moment. The mini-games for pre-match fitness and and extra goals during matches add to the fun. tcmardoc likes this. tcmardoc Member Jan 30, 2019 7 3 3 #3 tcmardoc, Jan 30, 2019 First of all, thank you very much for giving me your insights, that means a lot... the game is developed so it won't be a "pay-to-win" there's a specific strategy to win it without paying a dime (tested in our office several times). I'll give you the quick tips on how you get there... 1. Fire most of your reserves (keep 3 or 4 good fitness reserves) - this will give you a nice bump in your balance to pay salaries at the end of the season 2. training players and then selling them on the market would yield more than buying them developed on the transfer market (not by a lot, but it is some strategy to get some extra funds) 3. most important thing: build and upgrade stadium facilities - what you need to do here is a bit tricky - I would suggest building all of the facilities that are cheap - upgrade 50% of them (the pizza, the cafe, the hot dog stand) to a level of 6 or 7 and increase their price to the max - then on the ones you didn't upgrade - reduce the price to 0. this would "balance" the fans satisfaction (on fans tab) from stadium facilities and would allow you to increase the income per fan - if you keep winning - you should end up with more or less 4000 fans after D2 division when promoting to division D - and this could yield $50K-$70K a game in profits if you played it right - keep balancing the costs and the fans satisfaction. We do not "calculate" the satisfaction based on the upgrade level of the building and this is the "small" hack you could do here 4. make sure your team is at maximum available fitness at all time. 5. be sure to have on your team only the strongest players (you can also create a formation if possible) and play offensive against defensive or vice versa (you can see how your opponent is going to play in the "fixtures" tab right under league. 6. In order to survive in division D - you will need at least 2 players of 2 stars quality or even 1 player. - but if you would invest in your best players on the team - and get them around 18 - 25 fitness - that would be equivalent to 2 stars players. 7. save some money and USE it on the transfer market window - in mid season and and of the season - you get some crazy deals there of 35% discount on players you need. That's it... don't give up too quickly - but if you do - you can always reset game and start over again - no biggie. it's not an easy game - but it can be done without paying a dime - tested! This one pulled me in because of the pixel style , the management aspect, and the most important reading the comments and noticing how much the developer is involved in the game and replying to each person. Can’t beat a developer who put this much into a game and cares enough to reply to the people playing it. Downloading now. Remind me a lot of one of my fave footy games New Star Soccer. I notice a few problems though, text on screen is cut off, on the left hand side, I took a couple of screenshots, to show you. Also it’s not optimised for the XS Max, may be same for all IPhones with notch.... as the notch gets in the way of some info on screen. Easy enough to work out what it should say though. I’d say text been cut off, on the left side of screen, is main concern at moment. tcmardoc Member Jan 30, 2019 7 3 3 #10 tcmardoc, Jan 31, 2019 Thanks for writing a feedback, we know about this issue and we're planning to solve this in a fix version that will be submitted to Apple soon enough, for the notch, I've instructed developers to make some adjustments but our QA probably didn't tested on XS Max resolution. We use a "pixel perfect" engine so the pixel art will be spread evenly within any screen resolution, but there are issues with that which we have to solve quickly and we're working on it. Thanks again for letting me know. ~SH tcmardoc Member Jan 30, 2019 7 3 3 #11 tcmardoc, Feb 4, 2019 @Bloodangel Just a quick update, tomorrow we're uploading a version with a fix to the XS Max, thanks for letting me know about the issue with the screen being cut. No probs, glad I could help Shot Caller New Member Jan 27, 2019 2 0 1 #13 Shot Caller, Feb 11, 2019 What does Player Reaction mean and how do I make it better? It’s always been stuff at 50% happiness there and I have no idea how to increase it, or how it can be decreased. tcmardoc Member Jan 30, 2019 7 3 3 #14 tcmardoc, Feb 12, 2019 @Shot Caller Player Reaction is the level of happiness of fans on new players joining the team, so if you recruit new players via transfer market or via transfer window it will increase their satisfaction level for a while, for every new strong player joining the team, the fans are happier and more fans will join and support your team, hence more income to you if you play the cards right with the stadium facilities and able to squeeze enough money from the fans. We didn't really knew how to put "Player Reaction" in a way that is not confusing, we thought about "New Players Reaction"... If you have any ideas on how to call it, we can add it to the next version which we plan to load this Wednesday...
