Despite saying it’s a card game in the description, Miyamoto resembles a board game. Each turn you place pawns on the board, then move and attack with pawns already on the board. The game ends when either your or your opponent’s leader is defeated in combat. After each victory, you pick a card that then gets added to the pool of available cards for future battles. I’m not yet sure if there’s a way to customise your starting deck - I’m sure there is, I just don’t remember seeing it. Overall, very fun and strategic if you’re into board games/chess/strategic games. The opponent AI is pretty damn clever too. The AI is good; not sure if the RNG is rigged, I have bad luck, or I’m not adept enough at the needed tactics. Regardless, it’s a neat game. It has beautiful artwork and it’s portrait orientation (huge factor; a premium game in portrait is pretty much an insta-buy for me.) Wulala Member Aug 10, 2018 5 4 3 #10 Wulala, Dec 21, 2018 This is a promising game. But I do need some tutorial or maybe some tips. By the way, can I check my own deck at the beginning of the game? Since I don't know what's left inside. Thank you. ColeDaddy likes this. gquiller Well-Known Member Nov 15, 2011 330 3 18 #11 gquiller, Dec 22, 2018 This has the foundation of a great game... Now I’m not. The balance is off in every new game I play. I get like two weak cards and the opponent gets like four including some really powerful ones. And I can’t even get past the first rung any more. I used to get pretty far. gquiller likes this. gquiller Well-Known Member Nov 15, 2011 330 3 18 #18 gquiller, Dec 26, 2018 I wish it synced between the iPad & iPhone versions, so I could continue with progress intact.
