Story: Search through the historical records of all the national libraries of the Sothoth Continent if you can, but there's only a handful of documents with records of the catastrophe long ago, which the historians named the first "Gold Rush". The story began in a cave full of magic, and the accidental discovery of the treasure hidden within it. Adventurers came in flocks with their respective goals. This unprecedented adventuring fever directly caused some kingdoms to prosper, while others withered and died, leading to the change in the geopolitical landscape of the world. However, it was too late when people discovered the truth. When the conspiracy was revealed, the army of demons has already descended upon the realm, the gods were furious; both heaven and earth lost its colors. War rapidly spreads to all corners of the land, no one was spared. Humans were as helpless as dust blown against the flames of war. Homes were ravaged; civilizations destroyed, the world took on an unprecedentedly heavy toll, as only a few survivors eventually remained. This catastrophe lasted for many years until people almost forgot the name of this continent—Milton. This story easily reminds people of what happened recently. Thousands of years later, in Basatan, a magic worshipping kingdom embraced by mountains, its sorcerers claimed that they have opened the door to another world through their research. A place where time-interlaced with space, where you can see not only images of the old world, but also many bizarre creatures that people have never heard of before. However, as they have said before, "the way to control this power has not been found yet, thus you do not know where you will end up." Obviously, such minor issues could not possibly stop people's curiosity. As if yesterday once more, the adventurers of different kingdoms gathered again today, and the second "Gold Rush" inevitably started… Follow us: Facebook: @GreedyCave2 Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Information Seller:AvalonGames Genre:Adventure, Role Playing Release:Dec 11, 2018 Updated:Aug 04, 2023 Version:4.4.7 Size:1.3 GB TouchArcade Rating:Unrated User Rating:Unrated Your Rating:unrated Compatibility:HD Universal The story of the Greedy Cave 2 happened after its predecessor, and the appearance of the Time Gate have linked people's destinies together once again. My family uses a couple iPads with keyboards connected so I appreciate the landscape view for that reason alone but I always thought that giving users the ability to switch between portrait and landscape should have become more standard with iOS Apps / games. ramzarules Well-Known Member Sep 13, 2014 2,112 128 63 Greece #8 ramzarules, Dec 12, 2018 the Eu server is still extremely unstable, kicking me out every 2 minutes on full wifi. They have an announcement that sais it was fixed, it isnt. Hopefully tomorrow! I like the art more, but the huge town and the sideways perspective need some getting used to, especially when you want to tap an empty tile and tou start attacking a monster. Would love a slight camera adjustment option to some more degrees to vertical. Googgi78 Active Member Dec 30, 2014 29 0 1 #9 Googgi78, Dec 13, 2018 I’m so confused. Tutorial said to use a scroll to go back to town because you loose everything if you die, but I’ve done so twice now and I loose everything when I use the scroll to warp back to town. geoelectric Well-Known Member Apr 22, 2010 464 22 18 San Jose, CA #10 geoelectric, Dec 13, 2018 You can only keep gold items between runs. IIRC in the first one dying meant starting over from scratch (lose all gold items too), probably this one too. shining jade Well-Known Member Apr 1, 2013 387 3 18 #11 shining jade, Dec 13, 2018 First one doesn’t need WiFi, runs better has more love, into it heck it’s intro if u held the screen it went to dark character mode. Loved how that one played. Download this right away and was not happy.. Second one needs WiFi doesn’t do the same intro nor anything of interest & feels diffent with the way the game plays in landscape, this is what iOS and Android mobile sequels are about now they lock to play always online & of course are freemium I should of known. I don’t know yet how intrusive the iaps are yet but after playing for about 30 mins I like how the game plays so far. This feels like the natural progression of Greedy Cave to me. Yes I know it is ftp and has iaps and constant internet but if done right this could be a keeper. I’m kinda getting sick of buying premium games on iOS and then having them removed from the App Store after a year or so. The games graphics are good, the gameplay is very rogueish, and I like how you can leave the game and come back to exactly the position you left. One bug I noticed. The music seems to cut off after some minutes and doesn’t return. JasonLL likes this. The landscape / isometric view gives it a strong Rogue Wizards vibe that I am fine with since I enjoyed playing that dungeon crawler. Graphically it separates itself a bit more from the original (and Don’t Starve, for those furious about that) offering a slightly more cartoonish look. I agree with you stubbieoz in that it does feel like a natural progression from the original. Definitely one of my favorite games this year, so far. stubbieoz Well-Known Member Jun 23, 2015 1,880 358 83 Male Grey haired gamer NSW Australia #17 stubbieoz, Dec 13, 2018 Last edited: Dec 13, 2018 Deleted post. Make sure you use enchanting materials if you have them. KeKhan Well-Known Member May 28, 2012 1,381 43 48 #20 KeKhan, Dec 14, 2018 Ok I can't for the life of me figure out how to use skills. I unlocked the first Mage skill, but can't seem to use it in battle? Didn't see that info in tutorial. Also, loving this - never played the first but I'm enjoying this one. Would be happy to join an American guild. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
