Maybe because I pre-ordered it. Anyway the game is great and I'm having a blast. It's very threes-esque, while actually adding to the gameplay. I'm sure there'll eventually be a f2p ripoff though. My only gripe so far is it really needs to have the ability to let you click on enemies and have a description of what they do. It's annoying on later levels when a new enemy appears and you have no idea what its crazy power is sugimulm Well-Known Member Aug 28, 2010 2,457 46 48 The last time zone for iOS game releases :( #3 sugimulm, Dec 5, 2018 Is it a high score chaser or there is some kind of purpose? AltsKev Well-Known Member Nov 12, 2016 566 157 43 Male Developer #4 AltsKev, Dec 5, 2018 i loveeeeee it so much, mix between threes and roguelike ! you can buy ability when you level up, and more you play better you are because you know your enemy. its a gem ! Moshfosh Well-Known Member Jun 1, 2013 97 21 8 #5 Moshfosh, Dec 5, 2018 It's a score game. The number you combine is basically what your score is. There's also a difficulty factor because you have to eat your score to level up but every time you eat your score you basically go back a level. The enemies are also able to eat you score and level up sugimulm likes this. sugimulm Well-Known Member Aug 28, 2010 2,457 46 48 The last time zone for iOS game releases :( #6 sugimulm, Dec 6, 2018 Thank you, will think about this one. Not into highscore chasers but looks good slewis7 Well-Known Member Apr 6, 2011 3,768 41 48 Male Retired! I do agree with the prior post which expressed frustration with the game lacking descriptions of what each enemy type does. Game is like crack, can’t put it down. It’s a legit heir to the best portrait puzzle games / dungeon crawlers (Threes,Card Thief...) The danger level thing is brilliant, you are always on the edge of your seat, at the beginning as well after 50K points and the weirdest enemies appear. I actually like you have to study enemies to understand what they do. Combined to the tons of skills and combos you acquire playing, it gives the game a nice RPG-ish vibe. According to the achievements, it seems there is an actual end too. Highly recommended. AltsKev and slewis7 like this. slewis7 Well-Known Member Apr 6, 2011 3,768 41 48 Male Retired! Houston, TX #10 slewis7, Dec 6, 2018 I am now really clicking with this game and it is BRILLIANT! I love it and after playing more I no longer have any concerns of my prior quibble that the game does not document enemy behaviors. There are only so many of them and you the enemy graphics serve as a good reminder of what they do. If you like the gameplay of Threes but with some randomness and many twists, go for it! It's addicting, especially when you learn neat tricks like how you can push the enemies that go through walls off the map. One suggestion for power ups is the ability to lay pits, but that might be a bit game breaking so I don't know. After about 10 hours the only downside still the figuring out what enemies do with no hand holding. I'm all for that in a game but when you're reaching 500k in points and an unstoppable red thing shows up it's infuriating Moshfosh Well-Known Member Jun 1, 2013 97 21 8 #14 Moshfosh, Dec 7, 2018 Nevermind found out there's actually aay pit power up. The later power ups are basically all over powered but you'll never get to use them much. Also was super proud of myself for breaking 50 million...then I saw the leaderboard ShinHadoukin Well-Known Member Feb 20, 2015 972 143 43 #15 ShinHadoukin, Dec 7, 2018 I would like a left handed setting to move the undo button out of the way. dukat111 Well-Known Member Mar 23, 2010 514 94 28 #16 dukat111, Dec 8, 2018 Cool game but it’s damn hard! Wouldn’t mind if enemies spawned slower. How do you find out what enemies do? Though clicking and holding over them wod give a description but nope. I didn’t like that the gameplay pauses to where you can’t move when the new enemies appear and I still don’t like not knowing what a new enemy is capable of, particularly when I’ve made it far into the game and get killed only because I was unaware of what they can do and likely won’t get back to such a high level (where the specific enemy appears) too often to where I will have another chance to try and figure out what the new enemy does or die trying, but I knew my dislike for the game was probably just me and not because of the game because I usually like a lot of the merging games and for sure love dungeon crawlers and roguelike games. So anyways, I gave the game another try and wound up hooked to the point of it being one of my favorites and now it’s already become a go to game (the last few games that have managed to do this was I Keep Having This Dream and to a lesser degree Linelight and Stolen Thunder) and, oh yeah, the whole pause in gameplay thing has actually become something I look forward to since it means that I’ve cleared the board of enemies. Why cut off a percentage of buyers that way? gmattergames Well-Known Member Mar 1, 2013 607 42 28 #19 gmattergames, Dec 12, 2018 Games is brilliant. Love it. I am perplexed by the leaderboard top-scores; are those legit? AltsKev Well-Known Member Nov 12, 2016 566 157 43 Male Developer #20 AltsKev, Dec 12, 2018 i am actually top 5, so i can tell you its possible. But for the top 2 and 1.... i don't know...
