Graphics optimized for Metal. **** «Z.O.N.A Shadow of Lemansk» - is an epic, story-driven first person post-apocalyptic-shooter from AGaming+ that blends deadly combat and stealth with exploration and survival horror in one of the most immersive game worlds ever created. In 2014 our world experienced apocalypse which destroyed most of humanity and turned the Earth surface into poisoned wasteland. A few survivors hid in Chernobyl Zone and humanity plunged into the Middle ages. It is 2034. New generations grew up in the Exclusion Zone and it seemed that life was becoming better. But new apocalypse hit the people. The temperature decreased fast on the surface of the Earth, so people had to look for the shelter in the depths of the old subway tunnels… Your name is Serioga. You were born just before the Earth burnt, so you grew up in ruins. After finding and getting control under bunker "Х" you hoped that the worst was left behind for those who survived in that dreadful war. Now people food supplies for many years and new weapons, which should help stop the bloodshed that was going on for more than 20 years. But you were so wrong... Tenb: your opening is terrible. There is no explanation of the systems, and even in beginner mode it is way too tough. You also need a checkpoint right as the opening monologue ends — I have already listened to it 6 times, and I’m kind of done. Also, if you are going put me in a stationary platform, let me control aiming with my left hand. Aiming and shooting with the same finger sucks — bad. I get it that you are going for a Stalker hardcore experience here, but this is ridiculous. I shouldn’t be running out of ammo on the opening sequence. And not sure what you mean about health packs: you start with none. Seriously, Tenb — you need to expand your pool of beta testers. All of this should have been obvious to anyone who isn’t already an expert at your games. As it is, I feel like I wasted 2 bucks. I simply cannot recommend this game as is. Tenb Well-Known Member Sep 13, 2012 945 7 18 #5 Tenb, Nov 18, 2018 Hold the shooting button, and see the same finger on the screen. So you can shoot and turn. And I will listen to you, and I will make it possible in this mission to control the rotation in any part of the screen. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,714 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #6 squarezero, Nov 18, 2018 I’m already doing that. I can’t find a sensitivity setting that works for me, and I just end up wasting bullets — which is my biggest issue right now. Frankly, all of this could be solved if you simply cut the number of enemies by half. It’s an opening sequence: you don’t have to make it a life or death struggle. If I sound frustrated, it’s because the game is otherwise gorgeous — at least the little section I’ve been able to see — and way more polished than anything else you’ve released. But you are going to lose most players with that opening, and that would be a big shame. icoker likes this. psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,964 717 113 England #7 psj3809, Nov 18, 2018 Yeah some good honest responses. We all want to love the game but that opening bit is frustrating. Please use different beta testers as I think they did a poor job Aiming in that first part is very tricky I’m sure you’ll fix it as your others games are great and I’m sure this one will be with some tweaking squarezero likes this. Therefore, on all levels I will lower the difficulty of the game on the beginner difficulty. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,714 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #11 squarezero, Nov 18, 2018 Great. Thanks again! dbagga84 Well-Known Member May 22, 2013 835 24 18 #12 dbagga84, Nov 18, 2018 Hm. I did die once at the beginning sequence because I didn’t know the enemies were gonna come at me from the back so I kept looking in front until I saw the red thingy telling me basically to turn around. My second time around I just turned around and had 0 problem getting through it, the 3 healing items and ammo they start you with was plenty (this also in beginner mode, since I don’t think there’s mfi support I can’t play fps with touch controls well) anyways, I really discourage you from making it easier tenb, that beginning segment of the game is a fairly long trip if you cut the amount of enemies down by half you’re gonna have a very bored player. It’s fine the way it is gameplay wise for the most part. I second the allowing the player to control the aiming with the left hand during stationary “on rails” style segments and I think this beginning segment should act as the games basica tutorial, maybe between waves you can allow the game to pause and give some info to the player, first teach them how to aim and shoot and reload (it’s obvious but still always part of a tutorial) and turn the flashlight on, then let the first wave come, then when they’re dead let it pause and teach the player how to use the healing items they start with (the backpack in the upper left corner people, that’s also obvious if you’ve ever played any game ever.) and show them how to cycle weapons, then let the rest of the waves play out. As soon as this segment is over and you have full control I suggest popping up a button layout on screen show what everything does (even the ones you already showed during the beginning fights) make sure you tell people crouch is hold only and not toggle which I suggest you change, if the game is supposed to be a survival horror stealth (or partly) then I suspect crouch is important and players will spend quite a bit of time down there so allowing us to toggle crouch on and off is preferable. While on controls I’d like the option to move things around , I’d like to be able to move the run button, crouch and jump, and for sure I’d like to move the flashlight to more thumb accessible area. Next, quest and side quest issues, using the little handheld device on the right pretty much has been useless except to change any available settings. Please add a manual quick save function, cause I have no idea if and when it saves, and make it so we can click a quest and see some details about it. Also on the compass at the top I noticed within range it shows geeen for NPCs, perhaps there’s a way to change it to maybe yellow for NPCs or even blue or something and use green for quest objectives? I can see the game has potential, I also don’t really get it once you go outside they say stay by fire or something to keep warm but there isn’t any anywhere? I basically just froze to death in about 5 minutes of leaving the tunnels. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,714 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #13 squarezero, Nov 19, 2018 Last edited: Nov 19, 2018 What 3 healing items? I’ll try it again later tonight, but that should do the trick. Tenb — seems like what you need is a menu guide. BTW, on the iPhone X screen the white bar covers the backpack contents — may want to fix that. psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,964 717 113 England #14 psj3809, Nov 19, 2018 The majority of people (well 3 vs yourself) found it tricky. That's at once similar enough to S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl to make it come across like a cynical copy and far enough from it that no one is going to get the two confused or think they're related (which is a good thing for players, but not for the developer if they're trying to cash in on Stalker).
