Stronsay Well-Known Member Aug 6, 2015 987 230 43 #6 Stronsay, Nov 14, 2018 The whole pace of the game really, and the first truck you get is slower than the slowest snail. Takes ages to accelerate up to 25 mph. The above video is a bit misleading as it’s not pulling a loaded trailer. Then there are all the traffic lights which always seem to be on red. Takes lots of time to get anywhere! Cooper04 likes this. Cooper04 Well-Known Member May 31, 2018 729 206 43 Male Stock car driver/RC car hobbyist Texas #7 Cooper04, Nov 14, 2018 I see what you mean. Does sound a bit frustrating. Stronsay Well-Known Member Aug 6, 2015 987 230 43 #8 Stronsay, Nov 15, 2018 On my 3rd attempt I finally arrived in Jacksonville after 3 weeks driving from Atlanta. First time I was reading text messages from a girl I left in Colombia, or was it Columbus, and I got the truck impaled on a road sign. Called Roadside Assistance but had no money to pay them. Had to reset the trip. (Don’t text while drivng big trucks people). Second attempt, my Kenworth T880 with a heavy load of rocks was going so slowly up a slight incline that a following car hit the rear of the trailer, causing me to veer off the road and get stuck over a crash barrier. To add insult to injury I got fined for hitting a car plus the $1000 repair bill. Reset trip. It’s dark and raining in Jacksonville. I’m starting to get tunnel vision. I got the GPS set to the nearest motel to get some rest. Cooper04 likes this. Truncana Well-Known Member Mar 18, 2013 623 91 28 #9 Truncana, Nov 15, 2018 Are there any Cabin Over Engine trucks? None in the dealerships I’ve visited and I haven’t seen any on the roads. Truncana Well-Known Member Mar 18, 2013 623 91 28 #11 Truncana, Nov 15, 2018 Ok thanks... I can’t complete it, and even if I do, after exiting the game, I return to buying truck. Stronsay Well-Known Member Aug 6, 2015 987 230 43 #13 Stronsay, Nov 16, 2018 I presume you have bought a truck @Brightsiderus. You have to buy one to continue. To exit the truck purchase screen there are arrows at both top right and top left of the screen. Brightsiderus Well-Known Member Feb 1, 2017 2,233 538 113 #14 Brightsiderus, Nov 16, 2018 I know that. After tutorial I go to other city with delivery, and taking story task. And after exiting I’m still returning to buying truck Stronsay Well-Known Member Aug 6, 2015 987 230 43 #15 Stronsay, Nov 16, 2018 Seems you may have hit a bug in that case. I remember at one point you get taken back to the garage and have to paint the truck to continue, but I don’t know why you would be on the purchase screen again. I can only suggest try running through the tutorial again if that option is still available. Brightsiderus Well-Known Member Feb 1, 2017 2,233 538 113 #16 Brightsiderus, Nov 16, 2018 No, tutorial option is available only at the beginning of the game. Lull4by Well-Known Member Aug 21, 2014 767 313 63 #19 Lull4by, Dec 2, 2018 so is it worth to buy? looks like a meh situation. Stronsay Well-Known Member Aug 6, 2015 987 230 43 #20 Stronsay, Dec 2, 2018 I was able to complete that mission, but connecting to trailers is sometimes tricky. Ensure the truck is lined up accurately and be careful not to reverse too close to the trailer. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
