"Still one of the best and biggest sandbox MMOs around, and it's only gotten better with age. There's simply nothing else like it." – PC Gamer Old School RuneScape is RuneScape how you used to know. It was first released in 2013 and is based on RuneScape as it was way back in 2007. It’s the only MMORPG in the world that is shaped by its players, with developers releasing new, regular content that has been voted for by the fans! The world's largest and most popular MMORPG, Old School RuneScape has been played by over 300 million players since the 2001 release of RuneScape. Old School RuneScape unites the intricate mechanics of modern MMOs with the nostalgic point-and-click gameplay of early role-playing games. FIGHT EPIC BOSSES Battle through three extraordinary raiding encounters: the Chambers of Xeric, the Theatre of Blood, and the Tombs of Amascut. Undead dragons, volcanic monstrosities, and tyrannous vampyres await all challengers seeking great treasures. CROSS-PLATFORM GAMEPLAY Adventure anywhere with an innovative cross-platform approach to mobile gaming, which is truly revolutionary among MMORPGs. Whether you play with mobile or desktop, you’ll be playing on the same account on the same game worlds. COMMUNITY LED In Old School RuneScape players decide what new content to vote on. If a proposal is voted for by 70% or more of players, then the developers will add it to the game! Over 2,800 questions have been polled since Old School RuneScape was released in 2013. That's over 2,800 decisions players have made to help shape the game. CHOOSE YOUR OWN PATH Play as the lone adventurer seeking glory through individual challenges, or band together with other heroes to leave your mark on the game. EXPLORE GIELINOR Be the first to traverse Fossil Island and uncover its lost history. Map the heated tropics of the Karamjan jungle, and brave the barren wastes of the Kharidian desert. Does anyone know how I play on the pc client with the same account? Is it possible? invalidmicah Member Mar 28, 2013 8 0 1 #6 invalidmicah, Oct 30, 2018 It says it cannot connect to Game Center and then when I try to create a RuneScape account it says sorry it’s not available. How the heck do I play this game? Pagan Fox Well-Known Member Jul 20, 2012 476 32 28 #7 Pagan Fox, Oct 30, 2018 Yes it is possible via Runescape account, not Gamecentre. Have played through the tutorial and not sure this is for me. There is a huge amount going on with layers of menu systems, which is fine, if a bit bewildering. I’ve suffered some lagging during the tutorial but this may just be the huge influx of new players. Has anyone played this on PC version? How does it compare.....? Dailon80 likes this. Could be the influx of new users or something else but I may have to wait for a quick fix in order to play. Turning the FPS slider down to 30 frames per second did help me. I was able to complete the cooking quest and wander around for a bit without a lockup and then eventually log off. I didn’t see any difference between 30 and MAX with this game so it may not be such a big sacrifice. Not saying it won’t lockup again for me but it did make it considerably more playable. Additional Update: Played a couple more hours after turning the FPS slider down to 30 without a lockup which makes me happy. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
