Sometimes it even doesn’t make sense, every second choice I’m wondering “why church is unhappy” or “why it cost any money” and so on. In first two parts there were unclear monents sometimes but this is like walking a minefield. And the saddest thing – this part is heavy with story and roleplay, unique for each character, but sometimes you can’t enjoy it because you should constantly avoid a sudden ending from having too low or high values. I should warn you though: game is picking up after last season (and spoilers everything, if it matters). A lot of characters from first books are dead, that’s why mostly you will deal with unknown generic NPCs. It’s really a nice concept for a game to have a fantasy what will happen with a certain characters on the Iron Throne, but it could be much more with another timeline. Maybe future DLCs/updates? With the “too much or zero” death mechanic, they limit my choices to “dont die” choices instead of the fun choices i would want to make. That and the convoluted things you have to do for an ending. This would be much worse in the GoT setting, the game forcing me to make a non game over choice instead of letting me interact how i want with these characters. Gambler likes this. Maybe I should hold back. Or maybe the price would drop even lower by then since I can't play it immediately. ramzarules Well-Known Member Sep 13, 2014 2,112 128 63 Greece #16 ramzarules, Apr 5, 2020 As i suspected, this title suffers not only the flaws of previous Reigns like : 1) random cards in the middle of events, like “we are at war” and you think battle related cards will follow, instead a farmer is complaining for his crops or a woman wants to be your lover 2) vague left / right answers and consequences, like “we hear crying from the cellar but noone is there” the answers are “yes” or “no” and the consequences can’t be logically forseen But what is more, you have to go contrary to the characters, most notably Jon or Sansa have to be jerks to Winterfel in order not to lose “from love of the people” Winter has come, lord Snow Winterfel needs help! Pick “send help” and then a crowd has swept your gates bla bla die from too much people love. The certain “immunities” ie Snow can’t lose from too much power” should be better tethered to the characters. At least i only gave 2 eu because i suspected as much.
