The riding the bike is what made me realize it. You could play the game and get new items from crates that spawned on the map. It maybe the same dev. But this is the exact same game with further iteration. nyanpass Well-Known Member Dec 30, 2017 3,374 1,043 113 #7 nyanpass, Oct 18, 2018 Glory of the Survivor (by SOULGAME) *AppStore https://itunes.apple.com/app/glory-of-the-survivor/id1428292624 *GooglePlay https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yomob.roguelike nyanpass Well-Known Member Dec 30, 2017 3,374 1,043 113 #8 nyanpass, Oct 18, 2018 * GLORY OF THE SURVIVOR (SNAPP REVIEW) http://snappzilla.com/new-release-glory-of-the-survivor-snapp-review/ (SNAPP Reviews aren’t really a full-fledged iOS game review as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a mobile game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know whether it’s worth your time/money or not.) Glory of the Survivor is a pixel art action/adventure game where you play as a girl named Abby. Abby is a survivor after an alien invasion that wiped out earth in 2030. It’s her job now to lead the rest of the survivors to the “Portal” and turn back time to before the war…….yea, it’s confusing. As far as gameplay goes, it’s actually really good! It plays like a mild RPG. You can level up your weapons, collect and level up different abilities, and earn experience and level up your HP. The twin-stick controls work really well and the enemies are pretty brutal once you get to the second chapter. I will say that the game is a bit short with only 28 levels over 3 chapters. Glory of the Survivor may not be perfect, but it’s still a solid game that’s definitely worth the price of admission. nyanpass Well-Known Member Dec 30, 2017 3,374 1,043 113 #9 nyanpass, Oct 20, 2018 * Glory of the Survivor Gameplay (by OGL) stubbieoz Well-Known Member Jun 23, 2015 1,880 358 83 Male Grey haired gamer NSW Australia #10 stubbieoz, Oct 20, 2018 Thanks for the gameplay video nyanpass. It convinced me to buy it. I like the mild rpg upgrades you can get for your character. .......... and it might help alleviate the anxious time I am currently going through waiting for the Siralim 3 ios tap controls to be fixed. nyanpass likes this. nyanpass Well-Known Member Dec 30, 2017 3,374 1,043 113 #11 nyanpass, Oct 20, 2018 Hope you enjoy ~ According to developer comments, they are still working on this to add more weapons and more maps/levels in next version. Everything is good for me except the controls feel a little wonky. I wish they were more tight. I did change the control type but it still doesn't feel very fluid unfortunately. stubbieoz Well-Known Member Jun 23, 2015 1,880 358 83 Male Grey haired gamer NSW Australia #13 stubbieoz, Oct 20, 2018 What device are you playing on? I play it on my big iPad Pro and I think the controls are great. For the options I have fixed left joystick, autoaim and all direction selected. I don’t play a lot of dual shooters so I don’t have a lot to compare them to though. This is a pretty fun game. I like that you have replay stage teleporters so you can go back to the start of a stage and get extra gold to open those expensive chests, which usually, but not always, have a skill power up. The game play is quick but so far I haven’t felt overwhelmed by enemies.
