I wanted to let you all know I just released an art-game for iOS and Android called "Skyward Journey." It's a short, really chill experience about guiding birds by drawing with your finger. It's really different to DATA WING but I hope you love it! And please, spread the word if you do! ✨ Youtube trailer: Universal link: http://onelink.to/skywardjourney (the app info is very fresh - I published very recently. Hopefully, the link comes good soon...) Thanks so much! Dan Asp Well-Known Member Aug 3, 2017 769 196 43 #2 Asp, Oct 10, 2018 Ideas like this is why I trawl through the appstore. I just spent about an hour with the game and yeah, I’m almost lost for words. I had a feeling it was going to be something special considering who developed it, but I didn’t expect it to be something so... powerful. It sure stirred my emotions and left me in a very thoughtful, reflective, thankful state. Like there was still time to change certain things in life for the better, not all but some. Helpless yet hopeful. Sadly beautiful. Thank you for the experience Dan. Anotherkellydown and Asp like this. DanVogt Member Jun 9, 2017 22 3 3 #4 DanVogt, Oct 10, 2018 Awesome. Thanks, folks. It’s fun directing the flocks of birds where you want them to go. It’s unique how you used real people’s regrets at the end of each little journey to evoke an emotional response. I’ve only done two rounds of the journey mode. Looks like there are other modes being unlocked the more I play. Looking forward to exploring Skyward Journey some more when I can hear the music and sounds (I’m at work right now). Definitely worth a download from a trusted gamedev. ...and, after playing at home... wow. The sounds are so realistic and relaxing. When you swipe around in different ways you can actually hear different melodies. Jeff did such a great job in the sound department. I’ve freed 250 birds and spent probably half an hour playing Zen Sea. Son of Anarchy pretty much summed up my feelings In his post. Thank you for sharing this piece of art!
