I hope they take that into consideration. I made it to the 3rd map on a run and only got 70 gems when I need 2000 just for the next hero... I’m not trying to sway anyone from at the very least trying because it’s a great game. I will keep at it and see if there are any better results. Maybe once I beat it or something it’ll unlock more. You will get 10 - 70 green gems per run where the 70 gems takes about 40 mins of gameplay. You need to spend up to 15000 green gems for a new playable character. It will literally take at least 500 playthroughs to buy the 15000 gem char. Buying blue gems for real money yields next to no gems. there is a 1 dollar option to buy 60 blue gems, but the fun part is thatere is nothing that you can buy with anything less than 300 blue gems. It would take at least 100 usd to buy the best character. The amount of gems that you get for an iap just make no sense, it feels as if its off by at least a multiple of 5. The game is fun, but it will wear out fast with only 1 playable character. I suspect it’s one or the other, meaning 300 blue gems which cost $4.99 for 320 (blue gems only obtainable by paying it seems). Or 2000 green gems which so far I’ve been getting 10 per run past the first boss (not easy to do and I’ve played a fair bit of StS), so that means 200 first boss runs just to unlock second character. So it’s either $5 or 200 runs to get second character I think. This game has full pay wall control by the devs being able to ramp your opponents difficulty up to whatever they want at any stage. After the first boss I’m seeing battles that are just way beyond bs. You’ve got no chance of beating them. Thus forcing the player to a long grind or pay up $5 for the second character only to meet the same fate. I’m not enthused. It’s very potentially a great StS alt but these devs are price gouging hard because they know StS will come soon enough and they need to make a quick buck. Get in get out, shut the servers off and leave players with nothing I don’t think is too far out of imagination.
