You’re basically tapping to upgrade your character and get material to craft new swords, hit new things get new material etc. Then there’s the story part where you’re progressing up a tower floor by floor, but that’s restricted by what sword you have got. The issue I have is that progress is so slow I’m just bored and I haven’t even unlocked the sword I need to do the second floor of the tower. Unless there’s an upgrade that I’ve missed I’m just not getting enough money and materials - being away for 12 hours generated me 200 coins when I currently need 2500 to do any upgrades. I’m going to give it another hour to see if I’ve missed anything but if it doesn’t get any quicker then I’m knocking it on the head. Like you need Bamboo to progress to a new sword, but the samurai is attacking an oak. The oak gives oak, not bamboo. Couldn’t figure out how to go back to farm the bamboo, so progress is impossible. I don’t mind ads in games, particularly for some sort of reward (Tap Tap Dig does this perfectly), but hitting random buttons causes an ad to open up for no reason seems wasteful and annoying. The tower aspect is interesting, but being able to only fight on one floor is boring. I could see exploring up to floor 10 or 100 to gain materials before hitting a boss. The current setup is just boring. Ultimately this is a pass, not quite deep enough or explained properly. It has nice graphics, but not enough explanations to know what’s going on.
