(just like the Dark Souls on PC, using the keyboard to play is kind of torture...) But I think even you play the game by touch screen, it will still being a good experience, check the clip above by @redribbon . I don’t felt weird when I play the game with MFI controller, really smooth gameplay experience. There is only a simple tutorial and a boss fight in the free version, if you want full premium game experience, you can purchase the full game for $4. Did you tried to low the specs from settings, just to see if this happens in any case? Fortunately on max settings on iPad Pro no prob after an hour...

10Birds are working on some bug fixes. It was found out that an important build setting did not compile correctly in their game editor due to a Unity bug. They are working to resolve this right away.
