In fact, they screwed up quite badly, with a limited number of keys provided every 24 hours, and no way to buy more of any kind, not even cash. Which is LOL funny, not sure how they released with such an epic blunder. Apparently, they have a fix in the work, but I suspect the game may still feel too "bad freemium" for many despite the fun pvp. So you can open maybe 14-16 chests a day, and no way to get more in any fashion. Considering that the matches only take a couple of minutes, it may or may not be enough for you -- say 40 minutes or so. The bigger issue, as I mentioned in my first post, is that the implementation of freemium just feels a bit more clumsy and obtrusive than mainstream freemium titles -- lot of add watching if you want to get enough gold. Watch an add for bonus gold. Watch an add for bonus spells. Wait 3 or 8 hours for special quest gold. As compared to a mainstream freemium model such as Clash Royale, there are mode ads, which isn't such a big deal -- more of a feel issue -- the way CR handles it just feels better. Still, the pvp is real play v real player, and its fun. Reminds me of the 2012-2014 ios game Witch Wars. I liked that game a lot, but matches eventually just started taking too long to find. And they are supporting TA hard with that big banner ad, so support TA by trying this. zeroex Well-Known Member May 20, 2014 344 25 28 #5 zeroex, Aug 22, 2018 Tried it. Found the gameplay really slow and boring tbh. Deleted. RedDeluxe Active Member Nov 9, 2017 29 7 3 Westcoast #6 RedDeluxe, Aug 23, 2018 I got through the tutorial and did 2 matches. It's really simplistic and takes way too long to whittle down HP. Maybe it gets deeper later on, but I'm too bored to keep going to find out. I didn't feel like there was much strategy. Its kind of just match as much green or red together as quickly as possible. It doesn't have the depth of something like Clash Royale. The art/style/polish is B-tier if Clash Royale is A-Tier. But totally good enough, it's just the gameplay felt lacking. I believe this is Flare Games' first title in their incubator venture. I hope, for their sake, they have better ones than this one in the pipe, since this first outing doesn't bode well. And all this is coming from someone who was addicted to Non-Stop Knight (and even paid for Gems in that game).
